Mr Blobby 2,662 Posted October 9, 2013 So one of the the most pointless home meetings we are going to have all year as we welcome our friends from the west. We are 20 something down from the first leg and Glasgow have brought in Armadale specialists in Ricky Wells and and Ashley morris in for the retired Screen and Ringwood who is away home. They also bring in Thomas Jorgensen for Dokata North who i think is riding for Peterborough and will operate R/R for Thomson because Glasgow can't be bothered flying him over for the meeting basically. So his rides will be taken by Bager, Jacobs and Morris ( who has a higher average than both Thomsen and Ringwood) The home side will have Morten Risager guesting for Cookie at number 1 as he has to ride for Bell Vue Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Morten Risager (G) Max Fricke Claus Vissing Joe Tabaka Theo Pijper Liam Carr Derek Sneddon Glasgow 'select' Ricky Wells (G) Henning Bager James Grieves Anders Thomson R/R Thomas Jorgensen Ashley Morris (G) Joe Jacobs

Fromafar 10,363 Posted October 10, 2013 Can't see a huge turnout for this one, thought Grieves would have gone out on a high at Ashfield maybe he is giving retirement second thoughts.
Gazc 7,096 Posted October 10, 2013 Can't see a huge turnout for this one, thought Grieves would have gone out on a high at Ashfield maybe he is giving retirement second thoughts. Think it's more a case of him fulfilling the fixture we have left as the professional he is retirement for James is pretty much nailed on.

luluthetiger 221 Posted October 10, 2013 Actually, this could be interesting. Edinburgh will surely win -- will it be by enough? Guaranteed that, if things are tight (on aggregate) by about Heat 14, there'll be no 'couldn't care less' attitude about either faction on the terraces or in the pits. Pinny 2,536 Posted October 10, 2013 What is the point in this meeting, neither sides giving a toss about their line ups. Morten risager guesting for cook? What a joke

Pinny 2,536 Posted October 10, 2013 Still not the same without both sides being strong as possible? Ringwood going home with fixtures still left to run is farcial and wheres glasgows dane? Edinburgh have nearly all pl riders to chose from and the best they can get is risager? A second string? Yeah right
Paulco 7,075 Posted October 10, 2013 Mickey Mouse match or not , i'm going . Looks like two pretty even teams to me , we might get some decent racing . Going to be a bit cold on that 3rd bend methinks though .
