They want new investors to come in, and take a load off the current board. They have issued a number to call. Yes, we always need more money, but we need new people to help us carry the club forward". Since the original statement, all sorts of articles are appearing -- two pages in Edinburgh's programme last night alone -- suggesting more or less that the Bandits are broke and can't go on. As I read it, the directors are drained of enthusiasm and are looking for new people to join them, or a buyer (one they trust will be good for the club's long-term future) to completely take over.
