World U21 Team Final Saturday October 31st

Team GB are in the Gustrow semi bidding to reach the final in Australia !! -1st race 7.10pm uk time

line-up Germany,Finland,team GB Denmark

 

Germany Hartel, M Riss, Grobauer, E Riss.

Denmark Michelsen, Bech, Jakobsen, Thomsen.

Team GB Nielsen Howarth, Ellis , Bates

 

the other semi on Saturday is in Opole Poland. the winners of each semi plus the highest of the 2 runners up will contest the final in Mildura along with the seeded Aussies on October 31st.

Well the Polish team doesn't look strong at all. ;):rolleyes:


Also I think the semi final balancing seems a bit uneven. The Opole semi looks much stronger the other one.

As Twitter confirms, Finland will be there. Been an interesting day. I'm GLAD this was one sh!tstorm that I was not in the middle of...

Finland is riding after all with Nike Lunna, Jiri Nieminen, Jere Lehtonen and Jooa Partanan.

Danish team looks strong, then Poland and Sweden from Opole. Both Engman and Andersson were in good form at Kumla GP, and without Lambert, i think they may score more than GB. Because Germany and Finland can take points from GB if they give it a real go.

 

Australia will be competitive against those teams with Fricke and Kurtz riding well. So with a holiday in Australia at the end of a long European season should be a good final.
