Of course people are entitled to express their views.  Just saying that some of the extreme personal insults and character assassinations you often see on here will not make anyone better-disposed to speedway.

Its difficult to cut the people involved with this project much slack when all we have heard from them for the last 3 years is, failed promises, unmet deadlines, deafening silence, misleading stories  and downright lies.

But they still wouldn't let us leave the dogs in the far end of the car park when we were on holiday and found out they now weren't allowed inside the stadium,  as they might have bitten someone. Cretins.

from what I can see don't think anyone will be going - just how are they going to do the track changes in time ? and from what I saw last the track certainly needed a lot of work doing to it

I feel sorry for the Swindon fans and I have some friends who support them, but the place itself doesn't hold very good memories after being escorted out in 2008 or 9......well sort of......the steward should have stayed with us to the gate because we took a wrong turning and ended up round the back of the stadium somewhere where the riders vans were. :D  So instead of heading home the dogs were left in the car to sleep off several hours of walking around the Uffington White Horse area and we were able to watch the match.  What was annoying is we paid to come in with no problem and the 2 ladies on the gate made a fuss of the dogs so they knew we had them with us, but then at the next check point charlie we met the head jobsworth steward who refused to let us go any further.  Never been back since.

Must have been the same 'jobs worth' who once shouted at Swindon legend, Bob Kilby, that he was trespassing behind the main stand!

Sometimes people in power would be better off saying nothing, rather than coming out with crap statements. It's far better being a wise monkey.

Everyone in speedways inner circle is beyond criticism. They are a protected species.

With the new 'kerb stones' already in place.  At least this should shut up all the 'it'll never happen' protagonists.
