Wouldnt mind him at Berwick for the rest of season in place of our current missing reserve.

Will be interesting to see if he actually rides, if he does well let's just see how much he screwed over the sheffield supporters. The amount of sponsorship he's had from them is unreal..

JPB's still a really young lad finding his way into regular speedway. Doing well for Birmingham but it's a big step up to ride in the championship. Plus, he's got the added pressure of riding for his hometown club who he supports too. I'm sure many Sheffield fans have high hopes for him but again, that's added pressure on young shoulders.

No harm in him doing a few guest bookings until the end of the season, and then hopefully back into the tigers 1-7 for 2018.

Just a question about tonight's four team tournament. I thought it was announced at last week's match that Andre Compton would be riding. Did I hear this correctly (not sure all the speakers were plugged in at the time). If so why has this changed?

yes you are spot on.i heard it as clear as anything, in fact, it was mentioned several times so i don<t know either what the reason is for andre not riding.quite looking forward to this as i like to watch both adam roynan and richard hall ride.

Was he down to ride for the Scunthorpe 4, who now aren't competing, it's a Poultec select team instead.

sheff are the the team to beat at the moment .

it looks like it yours to lose . dont let it slip .

dont let money run british speedway and fight for it .

i would rather see sheffield win it , than anyone else .

stuff the millionaires and rule book benders and scammers .

win it for the people that matter , US .

The Championship form-guide is as follows:

Sheffield + 24 (M23 - 10H/13A)

Glasgow + 22 (M22 - 10H/12A)

Ipswich + 11 (M26 - 14H/12A)

Edinburgh + 9 (M24 - 14H/10A)

Redcar + 6 (M25 - 13H/12A)

Workington + 1 (M17 - 9H/8A)

Peterborough 0 (M22 - 12H/10A)

Newcastle - 5 (M22 - 11H/11A)

Scunthorpe - 12 (M25 - 12H/13A)

Berwick - 25 (M28 - 12H/16A)

This is the point at which Sheffield's season has fallen apart for the past 3 years: August is the month when injuries have started to take their toll. I think it's vital for the league run-in that we keep a fit 1 - 7, and if we can do so the title is ours for the taking. It's worrying that Lasse is already carrying a knee injury. Steady should be wrapping his riders in cotton wool for the next few weeks.
