Scotland's B Team Vs Scotland's A Team

Recommended Posts

Anyway onto the actual meeting. With us not performing at our best at the moment can see Glasgow getting a point. All depends what summers and bewley turns up for the tigers. That will decide how many league points they leave the dale with.

As usual, it is on till its off. Could be torrential rain through there and the chuckle brothers would be posting lovely sun kissed pictures of Armadale.

I think others may have had a "sun-off".

But not to the extent that it is at Armadale that's the point.

Ok, let's say they prepared the track to a condition that didn't benefit the home riders quite as much (a mental thing to do), Edinburgh would still likely have won those play off matches just by a smaller margin. Same outcome; loadsa trophies.

Who? uncalled for that any idea when this took place?.

Dear psycho,

You obviously haven't a clue, nowt to do with away its the home trick track with a thousand percent home advantage and bends where at the apex riders often almost come to a virtual standstill that's the issue, nowt to do with away at all, already spelt that out but you obviously don't listen.

Dodgy trick track that's the issue and specialist set up cos its such a dodgy trick track, that does (fact) give you an unfair advantage and probably very different on a fair track over a two legged cup comp that the "league" title has been reduced to in recent seasons, saw the above match and capable visiting riders couldn't do anything on that trick track it was a sham, a Mickey Mouse trick track in a Mickey Mouse stadium.

Well that's a bonus, but what a cop out, you obviously know I have a point and I'm right ;)

hahahaha never read anything so funny, every team has a home track advantage some more than others but it's nowhere near as big an advantage at armadale as you suggest, yawn with 1000% rubbish.

cyclone gave you the reason monarchs won most of those 2 leg ties which was because of the result away from home . In the match you pick on as proof in your point Monarchs lost by 7 at Glasgow so even if there was no home advantage at all the Tigers would never have kept that within 7. If you have a good team and great riders Cook, Masters, Sedgmen, etc it makes scores a lot bigger than it would be otherwise because of the quality of the team regardless of the track.

What you need to prove your point is look at the seasons where we have had a poor team and find some results that we shouldn't have had. Last season we didn't have a bad team but it wasn't quite as good as the previous 2 seasons and we only won 1 out of 3 ties over 2 legs against Plymouth in the first round of the ko cup. The reason we won that tie is because we only lost by 5 at Plymouth. the reason we lost the other 2 is because we got spanked in the away leg, did Ipswich and Glasgow suddenly have 1000% home advantage?? of course not they were the better teams and deserved to win just as we have been in the past.

each to their own but i live within 2 hours drive of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Berwick and Newcastle and I would pick armadale for racing over the other 3 every day of the week.

Here's hoping for some great racing tonight and a Monarchs win

To be fair to Cyclops he makes a lot of good points but don't tell him I said that ;)

Yep the home track advantage is common to all teams - just seems to be accentuated in the case of Armadiddle. A bit like Berrington Lough was home advantage..... Plus!

And yeah unlike the Bandits of old when they were at Berrington Lough, the Monarchs have usually been very capable away from home but don't tell anybody I said that, in fact I defo never said it. ;)
