Are Leicester, Rye House, Somerset And King's Lynn Cheats?

Recommended Posts

So Rye House wouldnt of got one either

STOP APPLYING LOGIC TO AN ARGUMENT!

Nor Leicester as they had new promoters too.

Machin has been around since time began. Can't be many promoters who have lasted longer than him.

Is this all true? Maybe we need to know who actually did have a vote!

If it is correct it would leave Wolves, Poole, Swindon, King's Lynn and Somerset. Meaning King's Lynn, Somerset and Poole would have presumably voted in favour.

I remember when Swindon moved up into the top flight they weren't able to vote at the agm for 3 years.

...and Dave Darcy carries over from the previous promotion.

You wouldnt be saying that if somerset had 2 lose riders, untill theres some kind of independant commitee this will allways happen self interest as bloody usual !!!

It's happened before - We had Doyle, Morris and Grajczonek and ended up starting the following season with just Morris.

Tbh its happened to us quite often because of our success over our final four or five years in the old Prem.

To all intents and purposes it already is One Big League - quality wise at least. So why didn't they do that?

Not enough decent riders of an acceptable standard to go one league!! 19 clubs = 133 riders

New promoters don't get to vote for their first 3 years.

Didn't know that rule personally as I said but also as has been said that rules out Rye House and Leicester, so much for the cheating theory.

Had it done to us plenty of times, infact we have been in the same boat as Swindon with Doyle and Morris. We had it done to us for five years in a row because we had a success run, as has also been said. Edited by Brummie Rebel

I suppose there's a possibility that it was a 3-3 stalemate with a casting vote from the chairman.

I still don't know where this bottom 4 got a vote and BV didn't get one at all idea came from. Haven't seen anything anywhere about any voting results at the AGM or who voted for what. Can anyone enlighten us as to where they heard this or read this, or is it all made up again?

Leicester have already signed a No.1 therefore they screwed the big clubs over.

King's Lynn - NKI was the only option for them and when they realised it was Wednesday race nights they knew NKI wouldn't be joining KL and they would struggle to sign a No.1 therefore they decided to jump on the bandwagon.

Rye House dont have any plans to sign a rider over 8.00 therefore they also screwed big clubs over. Harris, Nicholls and KK is the plan for them.

Somerset cant afford top riders therefore they wanted to screw big clubs over in order to have half a chance in meetings. Should have joined the Championship.

Screwed clubs over or as other people would put it made the league fair and tighter.
