Won them before when Shane was in the team. Listen it's probably down to preference I've never enjoyed lakeside, Ipswich, Wolverhampton either. I just don't find that kind of racing as entertaining as Somerset, Redcar, Scunthorpe, Glasgow, BV.

I know for a fact they were looking away from armadale as a friend of my dad's offered Campbell land to build their own track a few years ago but think start up was too expensive.

I would never say should be banned as need all tracks we can get, it just comes down to preference for me, I don't find it entertaining

Agree to a certain extent Jaiser. Mauger always said if you turned left it was a speedway track. Many tracks limited to what they can do because of dog tracks.

Scott Nicholls a joy to watch at the Dale.

Cookie in his pomp too.

Of course that's the case, can only work with what you have.

Peter Carr late 90s take some beating in terms of what could do on the track.

Banning them would definitely not help given the number of clubs that have been lost already. But there’s a question about the product. My experience of the product last night made me think £18.50 was bad value for money, so I’m not planning to go back. But then again, home support is more important for speedway teams, so I guess as long as the home fans are happy with the product, that’s what matters most.

The track did seem well suited to the Wildcats meeting afterwards though, which was an interesting watch.

Match should have been in afternoon.

One of many recently. The first leg of the cup match at Ashfield should have been too. I’d take my kids to afternoon meetings but not evening.

Forecast for Armadale for over a week had said rain early evening. 3.00pm start time could have seen the meeting run.

See Glasgow home leg first now. Can’t see us repeating heroics of last night.

Think tonight would have been our best chance.

God's honest truth I don't see speedway in Scotland Tuesday, Thursday or Friday looking at the forecast for the week

Definitely not on Tuesday - which is a real shame. But Thursday and Friday look promising according to BBC weather.

I never trust BBC weather since stopped using met office. Hope it changes but with rain been around of late tracks won't take much to be soaked through

I return to the madness of trying to hold play offs and cup finals in October

I agree. Again looking at BBC weather there's rain forecast every day in both Armadale & Glasgow from Sat 23rd to Friday 29th, so who knows when the two finals due to be raced in Scotland will take place.

The weather can be crap any day of the year in Britain,it’s the fact that the schedule gets so far behind,if we were just down to the 2 Finals by the end of Sept, time would be on the Clubs side if there was bad weather.Although the Season should really be finished by end of Sept. IMO
