Jonas Jeppesen is the rider i'd be going for at No.6.
-
There are your missing riders for one big league, too late now though.
-
I'm thinking that he might be the No.6 now instead of Zischke.
-
Pretty much, Reading between the lines. They're hoping somebody with deep pockets is willing to throw a lot of money down the drain to run Northampton at Oxford.
-
interesting that they didnt go for Mulford again?
-
I struggle to believe that Kemp would be back. I know his average would fit but from what I remember Dickson has cut all ties with him due to some butting of heads late last season.
-
A few more, Richie Worral, Edward Kennett, James Sarjeant, Nathan Greaves, Craig Cook?

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams

Just take a look at the last 10 years of the u21 final. 13 of the 18 that appeared in 2016 final aren't riding anymore. The 8 in the u19 final that weren't in the 21 final aren't riding either. 21 riders that would be hitting 29-31 this year lost to the sport.

Possibly there'll be a drip-feed of further information during the upcoming weeks, beginning with Ipswich directly putting out a definitive statement. Ideally, the BSPL should hold a press conference next week, with the new line-up of directors fielding questions relevant to their basic statement of yesterday, and on other subjects raised. This should be available for anyone to view via social media channels

That’s what Berwick fans said last season and it still applies.

Everyone seems to think that Howarth will be back with the Lions, so that leaves 4.84 for the final rider. The likelihood is it will be Kemp (sorry IainB!), but Sedgmen would also fit. I know Sheffield dumped him but he rode Leicester well when he was here previously, provided that he trapped (and frequently did).
-
I remember him breaking the track record at Halifax, leaving Kenny Carter in his wake.He said he had been using his"gold top"engine, whatever that meant.

If cook appears for a full season and his head is in the right place, I think he could challenge for the number 1 position tbh, be nice to watch another 15 point max at Plymouth 😛
-
I'll start with a few. Josh Auty, Zach Wajneckt, Josh Bailey, James Shane's, Henry Atkins, Ben Trigger. Probably a lot more that don't come to mind.
-
its all too quiet for my liking

From what I've heard there seems to be a pretty good chance that Northampton will happen but time will tell. Things can change pretty quickly, both positively and negatively.

Are you serious !! this is Speedway we are talking about ! To have a comp featuring 10 teams is in my view the best we can hope for- most Countries outside the top nations struggle to find 3 decent riders let alone 5. Hopefully decent crowds at all 3 venues with a final to be proud of !! -
Not forgetting also that Lemmo is on the BSPL Board!!!
-
who are the dozens of British riders who have given up the sport - and not through injury?
-
Yes as you say, exciting reserve duo. Jody and Cooper race and that’s what we like to see and why we go to speedway
-
More chance of congress saying those rumored UFO's in area 51 are really real.
-
You’re not buying the line of a sixth team then? 😂
-
I'd happily have Rocket Man at Ipswich. Been a consistent performer for years in this league where his GSA rarely drops. Track specialist around King's Lynn and Leicester too which helps in a 5 Team League.

Do Solihull Barons or Telford Tigers count as the Black Country.
