What will 2026 UK speedway bring?

010.2.3 Amended MA’s With the approval of the BSP LTD GC or Directors for: - b) riders who have been absent for more than 1 full season due to a speedway injury So this is the relevant bit from the rulebook. Doesn't specifically state its an 8% reduction, just that it can be amended? -
He has just liked Poole's Instagram reel of winning the league. So i will be reading everything into that lol.
-
I don't follow the logic to this argument. Why do you think preparing the track so it is more raceable would make Poole less likely to win? Surely Poole would select riders in team building who are likely to respond to that, and with Poole's ability to build teams with riders who improve and that winning mentality, why wouldn't Poole continue to be just as successful? I can understand the logic for a one off meeting, but not as an ongoing ethos.

Would you want Ace Pijper if he started in the top 5, not reserve? Chris Harris (8.90) Kyle Howarth (7.92) Leon Flint (6.95) Nick Morris (6.86) Ace Pijper (4.04) Freddy Hodder (2.63) Jack Smith (2.61) * averages aren't official

She loves the poles.

Now it has been announced Workington will ride 2026.. Who is everyone wanting to see in comet’s colours? Me personally out of the 2025 team. I would have Foord Etheridge and Hook back. Too many inconsistencies in the rest of the team. New faces…. Kemp Grathn Kilndt? Probably wouldn’t work for a Saturday track. Steve Worrall Just some ideas.. Thoughts?
-
Don’t rate Bowes.
-
Top guy
-
From gbspeedway.com Rowe averaged 1.8 more af no 3 while Zac Cook averaged 0.7 more.
-
One person thinks it! Worky announced they are coming back to the tapes next year. You don't do that unless there are doubts in the first place? Then people will just assume it's financial.
-
One of the nicest fella’s in the sport is Emil. If it’s to be his swansong over here I’m delighted he’s going out happy and with a winners medal. Now won a league winners medal, and a Cup winners medal. Mission accomplished.
-
Fraser Bowes has already agreed terms with Poole that was common knowledge at Workington towards the end of the season. Also Zischke will be back at Workington he solely relies on 1 guy who he lives with and he drives him everywhere.
-
I don't think Stene is Champ standard yet, some people don't think Perry is good enough, yet he's probably at least 2 points higher than Stene in the development competitions.
-
You seem really nice!

Weather looking okay for Tuesday and Weds on met office atm. Just maybe some light rain from 9pm Weds, so they need an efficient referee to just get on with it!! -
Where you getting financial issues from? Honestly you lot live in cuckoo land! If you’re getting anyone it’ll be Bowes.

Out of interest regarding Zach/Anders, when they switched riding positions did one drop off & one go better? Just people saying about Anders not hitting double figures much, obviously heat 13 on outside gates is rough some time to score points from

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?

What will 2026 UK speedway bring? A lot of cancellations due to bad weather. -
The facts are that if we did not make it slick, Glasgow would have won. A lot of fans would want us to put more dirt down to encourage better racing but winning is everything in sport. I heard the Liverpool manager Slot moaning about Man Utd having a low block but they won so it was the right thing to do, fans like to see a great game if there team wins.
