Unfortunately I think it requires too much effort on behalf of the so called promoters rather than any apathy from the fans, you only have to see the crowd that the PCMT attracts at the start of the season at Belle Vue to see that fans will support such events... I think the same goes for international test matches.

Well he has some future. The Poles seem to be able to generate some competitive youngsters but I guess it is in the the Polish DNA and a taxi driver in Krakow recently explained why the poles are so good. If only other countries could match the practices adopted in Poland which really does deserve the title of number one place to ride.

I really would like speedway fans in the UK to support individual meetings and not just league racing. In years gone by sport in this country had some fantastic individual events which took pride of place in the speedway calendar and many being sponsored by major companies yet to today nothing other than a few events using second strings. Shame the sport cannot recreate the halcyon days of the individual meeting such as the Pride of Anglia, the 16 Lapper and many more held at Wolves, Wimbledon and other tracks around the UK. I am sure many on the forum can add more meetings to the list that have long since been confined to history. Just as well Poland have not abandoned the concept.

Should do away with the BSN Series, it's only a early season fixture filler and nobody really cares who wins it. I'd rather see the reintroduction of the 4's in some form. -

Good track or bad track ? Tiggers only had 3 heat winners can't win a meeting without winning heats !! Well done to the comets did not see that result coming, think their was several passes throughout the meeting, thanks for the Tigger fans for coming down, the better team won on the day . we produce some strange results through the year, if Godfrey and co did not pinch 2 points off us, we could be on the edge of the play offs. Whatever UTC 😄 -

I was a neutral today and enjoy going to both tracks. The Workington track has the potential to be one of the best in the country but 1 pass in the first 10 heats was poor and wasn’t great last week either. The racing in the last 5 heats were brilliant especially Jacob Hook who went round the outside of bomber. Bomber looked slow today. As for all the Glasgow fans mentioning Facenna and their wonderful track they must have short memories from the pre Facenna days and the tight Ashfield. Unless someone has a million quid to lose some teams are unable to change shape of their track etc. -
