I'm going on about the coments on the Workington page not his personal one !!!!
- Today
-
Yes but what he’s saying is that a few people have saw Jack’s post and for some reason have linked the two on the Comets page because he’s signed for a club!
-
Give me Ben barker over Kurtz and Bewley any day 🙄
-
Unfortunately quite a few of those lost fans are probably dead...
-
What average does Ablitt come in with ?

Be nice to see Kyle back in Comets colours. Has a few practices lined up.
-
His post on Facebook says nothing about Workington. He's an NDL reserve, and It's clearly talking about his upcoming signing for Buxton. You've just confused that with the fact that Workington are signing a Championship reserve around the same time.

100% advertise locally... There are Universities/Colleges who do marketing degrees so you could maybe contact them for their students to do some "real life course work".. If you decided not to employ a proper agency obviously.... Nationally? 14 teams running one meeting each would gross around circa £400k at roughly twenty quid on average (based on 20,000 fans in total visiting the 14 tracks for their opening night..)... Maybe all could give up that first nights money and give that circa £400k to a national company to see if they can get some cut through? (Budgeting for one less match per season).. They lay huge amounts to riders in relation to fhe tiny size of the sport, yet dont seem to ever use some of this money to market these riders, and their businesses, beyond those who already know who they are. Surely it's worth doing "something different" for one season to see if it can make a difference? Less riders oer team and use the payroll saving for marketing for example?

Best he heads to Buxton and lean to ride a technical track
-
I'm not confused I agree he no where near Championship level but the posts on Facebook suggest him thats all I put.
-
I have been very sceptical about the 6th team, but I heard the same about Northampton being close. I also believe that Ipswich is done and the announcement is very soon.
-
It doesn't say 10 league matches. It says 10 home matches. It also talks about including Cup matches (but not the finals) and also says they intend staging 1 or 2 individual meetings.
-
I'm pretty certain Northampton and Ipswich are coming to tapes. Northampton only have to agree a rental price and Ipswich is 99% sorted
-
If Carlsberg did councils . . . . .
-
the announcement says ten league matches, so are they saying there are 6 teams?

Championship Predictions 2026
TTT replied to Paddy The Rebel's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think the Clubs in positions 1-5 are all capable of winning the League tbh as they've all got a Rider or Two in their 1-7's that could have a breakout season. 1. GLASGOW 2. POOLE 3. OXFORD 4. REDCAR 5. PLYMOUTH 6. WORKINGTON 7. EDINBURGH 8. BERWICK 9. SCUNTHORPE -
No idea where the Jack Shimelt rumours have came from, and I really hope there's no truth to it. You could go pick 10+ NDL riders from last season who would be 110% better than Jack at this stage in his career. No idea who it'll be, but hopefully they surprise us like the previous signing.
