Couldn't agree more. It was unbelievable how he found himself in those situations, and how badly it turned out for him. Newspapers and Tobacco? Both of a different time and showing great decline in the amount of people purchasing those products... Sounds familiar....

To have this support tonight was so special for the lads, it felt hard work at times and deffo you could feel real pressure and nerves in the crowd and riders at times. To have to open the back stand on bend three because of the amount of people is a credit to the fans, the running and promotion of the club and the riders. I don’t know how good the meeting looked on tv, but it felt special to have so many people here tonight and the joy in the riders faces on the centre green celebrating just made the night amazing. Leicester were worthy finalists and on another night could have won it, but something just felt special about tonight, like it was meant to be our night. I hope speedway won tonight and not just Ipswich. We need to build this sport back to bring these crowds back. 2025 you’ve been special!
