  1. Past hour
  2. I don’t know last time around Becker was superb for Leicester. A lot depends on who they have in his place.
  3. Picko's averaging 10.62 at home so with C. Holder, Row, Kerr and Sedgy taking his rides is a big loss. But with the Holders probably getting 11 rides between them, i think a lack of race wins will be the Stars downfall. I know they will be together in 2/3 races, but in them they could well get a few 5-1's. If Niels can find some speed, and Kerr does't have a stonker, i'd go with 50-40
  4. If Iversen pulls his finger out and Klindt has his gating gloves on we could get 40.
  5. Looks like you have missed someone off having the tactical🫢
  6. Hi number6, do you have an email address to send the photos please?
  7. Late november was when Scott Nicholls announced he would miss the start of the season, so by my reckoning plan B kicked in, but as Scott Nicholls injury is taking longer to heal, plan C may need to be implemented.
  8. Today
  9. Think he would be better concentrating on his league career ,if careful he may get another five years there .
  10. Anders Rowe joins Ostrovia replacing the injured Luke Becker!
  11. Yes, but surely they could have streamed meetings from teams further afield as said a lot of people have a BSN package and will probably decide to stay at home instead of attending a "local derby "
  12. True, just trying to give some context as to why he was signed.
  13. Whilst I agree having guests is not ideal I still think Oxford will win, only just but they will do it as long as Shroek doesn't make any cock ups!
  14. I’m sure we’ll be down by 6 or more at some point and will use a tactical instead of Harrison. Kvech will definitely be taking 7 though. Unfortunately, I think we will lose, but will be a lot closer than last time with R/R for Pickering and a less than 100% Rowe. 50-40 Sheffield 1. J Holder - 13 (5) 2. A Rowe - 7 (5) 3. R/R 4. L Kerr - 5 (5) 5. C Holder - 14 (6) 6. J Sedgmen - 4 (3) 7. L Flint - 7 (6) Total - 50 King’s Lynn 1. R Lawson - 8 (5) 2. N Klindt - 7 (5) 3. C Harris - 9 (5) 4. R/R 5. N K Iversen - 5 (4) 6. J Kvech - 10 (7) 7. L Harrison - 1 (3) Total - 40
  15. Sammy Van Dyck gets the SGP2 wild card for Målilla. https://speedwayfans.se/talangen-far-wildcard-i-malilla/
  16. Think the Promotions have a say in what ones they want.
  17. It would help if BSN were a bit more selective with their fixtures.

  19. Spot on. It’s painful how British speedway is frequently compromised. Once again, Oxford fans are witnessing their side not at full strength. They - and the rest of British speedways followers - deserve better. Who knows what the solution is? In most other industries, including other sports, they’d draft in a consulting body to evaluate challenges and implement improvements, like a KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. However, I doubt the SCB have that sort of capital. Speedway taking place at Oxford and it being live on BSN are two huge positives, but long/short term, the sport is facing longevity issues.
  20. Sheffield R/R for Pickering,Lynn R/R for Cook.Harrison is the rising star. Unfortunately I can see another defeat for the Stars on the road.Sheffield are weaker without Pickering but are so strong at home that I can only see a home win.Would have been nice if Lynn could have got a guest for Cook, this would have put a lot less pressure on the reserves.Harrison will have to take 4 rides now.
  21. Discovery Sports Events (DSE) are the organisation who promote the Speedway GP series and by and large work on organising the actual event and partner ticketing agencies and similar sub contractors to deliver the final product to fans and content to (WBD Sport) media outlets. It was obvious from their initial involvement in promoting Cardiff 2021 that they were on a cost cutting exercise. Smaller flags, less fireworks in the after meeting show to name a few items. Whilst this "saving" was most probably a benefit for that meeting, what the cost cutting did was take the shine off the overall experience which folk actually felt. So with lower crowds attending the following year, more cuts were made to finally deliver the prophecy many felt - Cardiff was doomed. Its a fact of basic economics that costs increase year on year. Sure they can be managed but what you don't do in established sporting events is cut costs and reduce the spectator experience. They simply wont come back... London would be a great opportunity to reverse the trend - and would remain positive for a good few years so long as the eevent continued to provide "quality" experience and entertainment. Unfortunately, it appears DSE are run by accountants which is a shame because as my old CEO use to say "Finance guys should never be allowed to run a business, they simply are too risk adverse to have sufficient entrepreneurial spirit and courage "
  22. LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Luke Becker r/r, Ryan Douglas, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Joe Thompson. BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Brady Kurtz, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford. "The Aces are hoping Kurtz will be fit to take his place"
  23. Just subscribe to Championship on BSN much better value.
