  1. Past hour
  2. Any chance you can explain to me your end game with your endless posting about how crap in your eyes one big league would be? Every time we go back and forth you agree with me that big changes are needed, you’ve even agreed with me that Ipswich don’t do everything right and that the top league isn’t sustainable as it is? We know you have disdain for the championship and the quality of it and of course Poole and Glasgow for not bowing down to Chris Louis and moving up a league. But I really don’t get your end game other than to act entitled and make on that you are cleverer than everyone else for thinking you’ve got the future of the sport sussed out?
  3. I'm pretty sure neither of those offers were from Blackrock... Happy Christmas Norby...
  4. Get what you’re saying, but that’s the state the sport in Uk.There’s no quick fix .IMO
  5. It’s a mouthwatering prospect isn’t it Taps. Excited already!!
  6. Look forward to the One Big League in 2027 where the likes of Jack Smith will be needed to fill Second string slots......
  7. 3 qualifying rounds all on Saturday 27th June in Pardubice, Krsko and Fjelsted. finals round 1 Friday 10th July Malilla round 2 Friday 31st July Lodz round 3 Friday 11th September Vojens
  8. It was just TTT wasn’t it Mike? A Peterborough fan..
  9. Birmingham closed due to development not self interest and having a pop at Oxford who have gone from three leagues to two is rich when Louis won’t even run a junior team, despite all the hype about a run of the mill, one off, end of season junior meeting being touted as the most innovative initiatives in decades. Spin at its finest.

  11. Today
  12. Normally with the rolling averages it'll take some time for big changes. But in Palovaara's case he'll be dropping his high scoring reserve rides first, so potentially gives Berwick room for manuvre. Normally I wouldn't expect a knee-jerk reaction from them if the team doesn't start well. But they made a quick change last year with Borke.
  13. Birmingham aren't running because their stadium was demolished from under them. Not because Nigel Tolley spat his dummy. If Birmingham stadium was still there, then Nigel Tolley would still be there.
  14. I'd say there needs to be discussion much much earlier than mid year Ideally they need to start as part of the rearranged AGM in January
  15. I think that there needs to be a meeting of promoters of both current league in June / July next year to discuss 2027. There's no point leaving it until after the season ends. If there are disagreements (which there obviously will be), there needs to be sufficient time to arrange follow up discussions and come to some compromise. If there could be a big 'reveal' meeting (and try to get as much media involved as possible), it would be a good start to the new era. Maybe a change of name for the league as well - the British Speedway Super League perhaps? ''Dormant' and potential new tracks can get involved, riders could make plans, supporters could consider season tickets as Christmas presents, media can get engaged.
  16. The time for preparing a good team is in the winter not once the season has started. As soon as they start losing at home they will inevitably change things as they do it every year to keep the happy clappers on board.
  17. Challenge and final rounds to be announced today.
  18. Birmingham have struggled for a couple of years with crowd levels and limped from season to season, unable to attract quality riders and then lost their track. Not quite the same as the Ipswich situation is it?
  19. They have stated that days will be announced 6 weeks prior to the match. Oops, sorry, I didn't see that R+R had already answered. As to tickets for Wrocław league meetings, make sure you are registered on the wts.pl website and then also follow the club FB page. They announce there exactly when tickets will be on sale for each meeting. Be ready at the moment they go on sale and you'll get them. But be aware that they have 7500 season ticket holders and most of them will be in the main stand, so there won't ever be many tickets available there
  20. You are correct in principle but the loss making company may keep people in jobs and or be a supplier or forward facing business of the profitable company. OR it could be an ego boosting business like a yacht charter company, football club or Speedway. It also allows a profitable company to sponsor a loss making sports club that in turn makes the sports club profitable too, ideal if you may wish to sell at some point. That's all legal of course
  21. My post just disappeared but that’s literally what I just put lol, looks like Workington are going to risk it with Cook and have a feeling they will announce him at Xmas I would of thought.
  22. They are next season going to give at least 6 weeks notice of which matches are on Friday’s/ Sunday’s.
  23. Poole, Plymouth and Edinburgh obvious. Scunny - Ablitt, Lambert, MPT, Harrison Berwick - Assessed 4 pointer. Worky - Who knows… Cookie, a 5 assessed and a 2 pointer?
