  1. Past hour
  2. I think if the referee stopped heat 15 (as he should have) all the focus would've been on the start Marshal acting unsafely, but as the referee didn't do his job correctly the focus is on him. When it comes to the authorities that is.
  3. I think that the bloke on the kerb from gate one is moving off the inside due to his momentum from that start position, thus allowing the gate four bloke the opportunity to undertake him, all due to the gates they started on. We will have to disagree on this one but I respect your opinion.
  4. Oh they have, I remember laughing at it, not on this post admittedly but like I said, this argument has dragged on for some time and I’m certainly not trawling through the forum to find it!
  5. Today
  6. You see I disagree here the moment someone comes off their gate line and secure the pass it’s a pass so off gate 4 you cut back at the apex of bend 1-2 and secure a pass that’s no longer FTG!!
  7. Hopefully the Comets can be competitive but recently we have struggled at Armadale.
  8. Better result than I expected, Aces will finish 4th, lets see what the playoffs bring, but as Phil the Ace says, Brady could be 1 meeting away from being World Champion, and i don't care who you are, you are going to ride to protect that.
  9. Passes on Bends 1 or 2 on lap 1 for me are FTG, not passes. Anything after Bend 2 can be classed as a pass. That said there can be still some great races that are FTG.
  10. He's wrong anyway under last years system Brady would be 1 point better off.
  11. That's incorrect Dean, last year in Prague he would of not made the semi final finishing 9th (as you say) so he would have picked up 8 SGP points. This year he made the semi final as ninth qualifier, fell off while leading, so was classified finishing 10th and got 7 SGP points. So in fact under the new system Kurtz is 1 point worse off.
  12. there are three things you can guarantee you will see when Gavan has posted, either the Belle Vue track, how under appreciated Danny King is, or it will be a reply to Shovlar who he follows around like a puppy.
  13. A change at #7 according to Plymouth Facebook:
  14. Debates on here often thrash about with a degree of parochial mediocrity so that now passes on lap 1 apparently don’t count and FTG now incorporates everything that occurs on lap 1! we then have people who were not there suggesting they know the crowd figures!
  15. I would agree that not much passing happened last night or even the meeting before because the track has rode differently recently, but before that, you can't blame the track. When Ipswich have been behind we find away around the outside or inside to get past. It's no fluke that we win buy a good margin at home often, it's also not our fault other teams can't ride our track and make a spectacle of the meeting. We came to Belle Vue and took it to your riders, half the other clubs haven't done that at NSS. Maybe just understand we have a well rounded team who are dialled in at Foxhall and can race other tracks as well, it's not just about being dialled in at home, as you've found out twice this season already. Last night was about 3k crowd. When you think the whole stadium max is about 10k + then it was for sure about a third full.
  16. And the huge shift, since fhe 70's, in the demographics of those who live in the cities..
  17. Very much depends on how the final league positions turn out, but looks likely to be Witches & aces finishing first and fourth with Lions & Tigers finishing 2nd & 3rd although in which order is harder to call. Given the above, for the semi final, I'll go with Witches beating Aces simply because the aces have proven to be vulnerable on the road with the worst away record of the top four teams whilst the Witches have clearly the best away record so far. The second semi final is more difficult to call, but I am going for a Tigers win on the basis that the two late changes to the tigers line up appear to have worked in making the team stronger whilst the Lions (unbeaten by Tigers this year) have the big question of Luke Becker's availability or RR/guest affecting their choice of line up...this tie much closer to call. So a Tigers v Witches final, with Ipswich coming out on top.
  18. That'll be why they've had to close the gates a couple of times previously when Poole have finals to contest!!
  19. This should be a cracking meeting between two evenly matched teams. Redcar are a tough nut to crack anywhere, especially at home so the Gladiators will need Klindt and Nicholls to be at their very best. If they keep it to a manageable level, anything up to 10pts I would say - it sets it up for a heck of a return fixture tomorrow. I've got Redcar just edging it tonight but should be a great meeting, hopefully it'll be a good crowd supporting this fixture
  20. The return leg of the clash on Friday against the Redcar Bears. Tobias Thomsen guests for Klindt, RR for Lasse - no idea about guests for Spencer if he’s missing or for Redcar. There’s been some huge crowds at Plymouth in recent fixtures and more importantly some outstanding racing. Expecting another HUGE crowd this week and the Gladiators promotion have announced a new ticket offer for season ticket holders of Plymouth Argyle, Torquay United and Exeter City - £5 off entry for all ST holders from those clubs. Fingers crossed for another memorable night, huge crowd and brilliant atmosphere.
  21. Have you been to the Collsium recently ? Before you go sprouting your 💩. Check out your facts. May I ask on what grounds you base your 🐄💩 on ?
