It is true though isn't it, I doubt any rider gives a fig what I think. I was making the point that we pay our riders on time so his form for Poole at times, not all the time, is not the reason for it. -
Individual Speedway Championship of Ukraine. 4rd round. Rivne. Jule 27, 2025. https://gorka-speedway.blogspot.com/2025/07/v-140-250-500-27-2025.html

Beau would come in as a 4.00. but I believe beau currently has no visa qualification as he will need to secure a top 4 position in the state championships in Australia, which can prove quite difficult when competing against the likes of the holder bro’s, fricke, lisdey, Pickering etc etc. no doubt a talented youngster but first year on 500’s could be hard for him. so a big ? On whether Poole allow a slot for him in the hope by end of January he’s secured it.

I've parked in the shopping centre the last couple of times I've been with no issues, 4 hour limit
-
Sounds like the Tigers have been living well beyond their means... I wonder how many other clubs are.

Thinking of heading over for the Sheffield match on Monday. What's the parking situation like now? Does anyone have experience of parking in the shopping centre - can you get away with it?

Redcar v Glasgow 1st August
LisaColette replied to Weeyin's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Glasgow. But that was cos Poland called him up as Brady Kurtz was injured. Edit - also he just rode last couple of Fridays at Redcar and Scunny. -
Yes Bates family firm had the contract fitting water meters and associated pipe work for Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent in North Derbyshire however they lost this unexpectedly and have not been able to pick up other contracts so had to lay off a lot of staff . Timing was not great as had just moved HQ and made significant investments into two new pub ventures as well as a general slow down in Speedway attendances so where as previously they could pay riders through their other companies cannot do that now and from what I have been told the Bates family have been putting large amounts of their own money in to keep the team on track

I've just done a quick edit to the end of your final sentence, to make it more realistic. -
As always, meeting decided by the random "form" of guests. 😞 Thomas Brennan after a stinking display for Ippo against Kings Lynn, now turns in an outstanding performance against the same opposition ! Lewis Kerr ... the less said the better. Off to Leicester and I wonder whether the guests will once again decide the meeting ?
-
Plenty of potential but all the young guns still learning, could be a bag full of points one week and nil points the next. Can't see win at all cost pilots fans liking this side
-
Were Lewis Kerr and Justin Sedgmen just riding poorly on purpose because they were owed money is the question. I'm afraid his performance guesting for Kings Lynn v Leicester seems to indicate a dramatic downturn in his performances, as I'm sure he would have been paid by Buster. A shame, as Lewis was always a great rider at Kings Lynn, so its painful when a rider loses form and then gets replaced in a team. Difficult to believe that only a couple of months ago he scored 16+1 at Saddlebow Road with 5 straight wins on the trot.

Cairns is already 4.15 as at Friday 1st August. Still at reserve though.😜

You don’t need as much skill to ride Belle Vue than most other tracks …. Fast bikes and balls of steel What’s more skillful ….. Kurtz riding the fence on fast bikes to blast round someone … or Loram … Ward …. Screen using inside and outside to pick riders off at Arena or Eastbourne?? NSS is more spectacular to watch absolutely but the other requires more skill as a rider

I can say that I know of one ex Sheffield rider who is happy not to be there …said the riders don’t offer each other support and it’s the strangest pits and team environment he has ever seen in his career Nothing wrong with Sheffield making signings it’s allowed I just don’t think they are good ones particularly
