Agreed that was the big risk would anyone go after novelty wore off, thankfully it seems a good core supporters base is there, the track if they can get more time on it seems potentially able to provide good racing and stadium seems decent by speedway standards. I just seem to remember Flagrag mentioning a possible Polish connection last year but as I say given he seems very close to media side of things totally get it if he's not in a position to share any inside knowledge he may have. They have to be looked on as a success this year, they were left with the scraps this season if they can get Iverson, Thomson, Harrison, Lidsey (possibly) back they could have a good core add to that in the ideal world Anders Thompson, Zach Cook and Becker they would win most home meetings. They just need a team of triers as they have been saddled with 3-4 riders this year who only fancy it 50% of the time you can carry 1-2 like that but not 4.

2027 terrestrial tv maybe?

Who's driving the tv push Flagrag is it the Ipswich head man or is Harry actually doing something ? -
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm a realist and I fully expect us to go down by a minimum of 20 Points around the NSS so having the 2nd Leg at Home would've seen a big drop in attendance imo. Having the 1st Leg at Home is a blessing financially and maybe it'll also make the SF tie a little more interesting overall.

In my professional opinion I would say viewing would have far exceeded the BARB algorithm figures and is an ex woke of fly Channels look more now and pay for the Sky data as shows lots more. Have to remember even from the data I posted this does not include any viewers using Freeview,Virgin,EETV, ITV X or Freely there was overseas viewing so Phil Morris rough prediction is not that far out

can someone convince me a GP at Ipswich is a good idea? -
So Arthur73's 134k off BARB, and screenshot by eric i, was accurate given some will have watched post those numbers coming out...?.. Where did Phil get his half a million from that PTA mentions? Any idea?..

Can’t give you the full details as commercially sensitive but can confirm over 125,000 watched Or recorded the Live Speedway on Sky Q or Sky Stream. There is also still over 15,000 users that have it saved on their box most of which have viewed over 30mins of action

If the local authorities help out, like Cardiff used to, with the staging costs, it could maybe work..? A suburb of Adelaide and is only about 9 miles away from the city centre... - Today

That's a lot of middle aged, and over, men to target for advertisers...😁 It will be interesting to see how that number came about as the BARB figures, already shown, show a lot less than that... Maybe Social Media and YT views added?...

I can see a publicly opportunity for both businesses here. Just needs one or the other to get the ball rolling. (One does need the publicly more that the other) -
So Worky finally complete their season - so early for many! - and say goodbye to their "Mr Motivator" Team Manager, James. Lets hope they can 'soften up' the Bears for next week......😂

He seems a nice boy😂

Expect kings Lynn to be bottom next season

I think it’s common knowledge that signing a rider on a 3.00, 4.00 or even 7.50 average then help in their development is cheaper in the long term than signing two GP standard riders straight off the peg. Equally the chances of a rider who has ridden at number 1 one season won’t be taking a great dip in wages to be a third heat leader at the team that poached him. All academic now as Richard is running the show and it no longer the witches way, thankfully.

Fantastic idea. A great race track. Unfortunately the (very large) costs and logistics involved are prohibitive sadly. -
I get your logic. But..... It ain't over till it's over. They do have a thing called rain "occasionally" in Manchester. Who knows what that could do to the result at the NSS. Keep the faith.
-
Careful.... I can see some stats coming in from "someone" soon, detailing, to the penny, the money paid out to each individual rider, by the Aces and Ipswich... Probably covering the past five years or so, in an attempt to disprove your theory......

All I want is a dry fortnight so the final takes place the following week. If its pushed back by a week I will have to amend my travel plans as I was off to the sun.

There is no such thing as bad publicity. Remember that only thing worse that being spoken about is not being spoken about. And I fear the latter is the situation British Speedway finds itself in the majority of the time.
