I can't understand ppl thinking this is a excellent signing, yes an improvement but I'd still be surprised by any points scored with scunthorpe and redcar coming up.

Big thanks to jamie for stepping in cant have been easy after coming up from kent each meeting with no points money earned.

I can't seem to find a line up so assume its not yet been declared.

Well, that was an expected signing. This is the season he really needs to push on. Hes had two seasons at championship level and has only increased his average slightly. I liked him in the NDL in 2023 and thought he had a promising career, but seems to have stagnated a bit. He did seem to take a liking northside and performed well last season in the U21 final. One things for sure, he'll keep on pace with the other reserves and hopefully he can progress as the season goes on.

Need to keep them cobblers in their underware
-
D-day today, then! I hope they have a few thousand flyers ready to go because the Cobblers have their penultimate home match tonight and can expect 5,000 sports fans at Sixfields.

Who's got the last SEC spot (Lamothe-Landerron), do we know? Brennan & Flint got the other 2 surely DT should get the last quali spot
-
My assumption (we know who that is the Mother of) was that Thompson has chosen to fulfill his Edinburgh commitments instead and other U21's have probably done the same with their Championship fixtures (assume Cooper is guesting for Worky?) leaving Cairns to go for the experience.

What happens if Dan calls in his engine loan? I'm inclined to agree with you btw 👍

Someone in the GB set up really isn't a fan of Dan Thompson
-
Must be the favourite child of the GB manager 🤔

Decision made

I'd say they had his Kevlars made with the rest of the team as this looked to be a done thing once 4 meetings were complete. I'm a bit suprised by some of the comments on Facebook about this being an excellent signing and Awsome let's just calm down a bit and give the lad a chance he has a under 3pt average for a reason after quite a bit of experiance now. Just hope his liking for Northside can kick him on to the potencial that both Poole and Glasgow seen in him, he should by now be a +4 pt rider.

For me it's clear cut. Gilkes is very injury prone and Thompson is riding well. So I would keep Thompson. Second in the R/S list is good enough for me.

Doesn't the same exemption apply to national championships though? ...any way, no bans have been handed out yet
