  1. Past hour
  2. So not U21 even at the start of the season? Have to see the definition I guess. Is it 21 and under or under 21?
  3. Just abit of fun. Unrelastic ofcourse 1. Douglas 9.08 2. Howarth 4.63 3. D Thompson 5.99 4. N Partnitskyi (5.5 assessed) U21 5. Fricke 8.24 6. J Thompson 3.45 7. L Harrison RS U21 Very unrealistic but it does have two u21 riders in.
  4. He has quite clearly hit upon a system that works for him... Like Woffy who also gave the UK a miss when at his peak.. And becoming a father will also mean he wont be wanting to be away from home... If he rides over here, then great, if he doesn't, he just joins a long list of those who don't...
  5. Today
  6. I hope not. I'd much rather have Jason Doyle.
  7. I would not be suprised to see Mitch McDiarmid miss the Championship altogether in 2027. He seems to me to be an ambitious young man, he has shown what he can do in the Championship at Oxford over the last couple of seasons & he has won a place in Northampton's Premier league team. He already has a place in the Polish system & no doubt top league clubs in Denmark & Sweden will have an eye on him.
  8. There’s going to be quite a few riders who have preformed well in reserve this year that I can see loosing a team place next year. I worry some of these riders will be financially forced out of the sport altogether. We all understand the importance of developing youngsters but developing foreign riders at the expense of established uk riders is not the answer.
  9. Not to mention, of course, the fact that Ipswich itself is now a GP track.

  11. IF Bewley joins then IMO that’s a good move for him at this point in his career. If he has GP aspirations and wants to follow in the footsteps of Lambert then he’s going to need another string to his bow. We know Bewley is fast, when it comes to pinning the throttle and riding the boards on big fast tracks then he’s up there with the best of them. What he lacks, is a little bit of track craft on the more technical tracks and the problem he has, is there’s now more of those creeping in to the GP calendar. Warsaw isn’t a great track for him, obviously Foxhall is now on the calendar, a track he’s never got to grips with, Gilman is a technical track, can throw Vojens in there too probably. Is he going to learn much more by staying at the NSS? A season or two at Foxhall would IMO do him the world of good and help him on the GP stage. All immaterial at the moment as nothing is confirmed. Deals fall through all the time so nothing is certain until the ink is dry on a contract.
  12. You could say kennett and Kyle are like for like(kennett not so popular haha) so you've swapped mc diomed and Harrison for zac and kerr, good not to be favourites, going to be an interesting season.Really hoping next seasons championship can be competitive and unpredictable, even as a poole supporter I don't think it's any good for british speedway for any team to continually dominate.
  13. Hopefully every one who entered a team have enjoyed the season and one lucky winner will be announced soon.
  14. Not sure how the averages would work for the rest of the side but if we have got a Bewley, Doyle and King top 3 it would be great if we could get/fit Cairns and Rushen in the side to learn under that experience. No disrespect to the likes of Howarth who IF he chooses to return to the sport gives a 100% but I’d rather we had a young side around the top 3 to invest In The future. Especially after have a much older side last year which Coleman himself commented would not be his first choice type of team.
  15. Looking back on it, Bewley to Ipswich must have been in the pipe line for some time. Richard Coleman hinted straight away at dual contracts in the Wroclaw agreement (Knew what he was doing) Then he denied having an interest in signing Dan Bewley (Bluffing) Jason Doyle was rumoured to be Plan B for Ipswich with Kacper Woryna rumoured to be a main target. Kacper Woryna deal goes quiet and Doyle to Ipswich is back on. Logic says Brennan lost his place due to Mayfield missing out on Woryna because Doyle's GSA is over a full point higher than Woryna's rumoured assessed average of 7.50. After the pivot to Doyle happend it resulted in at least a full point needing to be shaded off the 2nd string department and Brennan would've been the only option due to Bewley and King being in all along.
  16. Just need to get the end of season dinner out the way next week then I think we’ll start to hear a lot more.
  17. Featured on BBC Spotlight yesterday evening, said £14k is still needed in the next month.
  18. I’d love to see Tom Brennan in Stars colours but think he’ll probably be at Sheffield. I would think Jody is nailed as RS and unless Kvech has a change of heart about racing in the UK, pretty sure he’ll be back. I could see Northampton fancying Bomber but again, think he’s likely to return. Can’t see Lawson returning, think that ship has sailed now. I think average wise, Lynn could theoretically track the same 1-7 as last season. Whether they will or not, I don’t know. Personally I’d take Brennan over Cook and use the extra to strengthen the number 2/4 position which was a problem for us last season. Would love to see Bednar over here but again, probably fantasy speedway.
  19. My main fear with this team is of course the lack of power at 3 and 5. Ever since Poole have been in the championship they’ve always had 2 or even 3 riders capable of riding at number 1. I’m slightly surprised at Mitch’s average, whenever I’ve seen him at Poole I’ve been impressed, but then Bowes also looked fast round Poole. I wonder if they’d swap Mitch and Slater out for 2 5point riders with the hope that they find a world beater, like Basso and Nagel were. But issue there is it could back fire like Glasgows did this year. if it’s the 1-7 above it’s an exciting young team, and I think Danny would be right in that on paper it’s not favourites but if they all progress like they can, then who knows.
  20. Unfortunately we don't have many top riders over here to a point where every Club has at least one. Personally I'd like to see Lambert at King's Lynn because it'll be good for the League and it'll help when it comes to a TV deal. My King's Lynn 1-7's so far are poor, I agree but as always I'll only build realistic sides rather than top sides that feature riders who aren't likely to be available. As a starting point I have to take the Kurtz (Belle Vue), Doyle and Bewley (Ipswich), Musielak (Northampton) and J. Holder (Sheffield) info into account when building my sides.
  21. Jack Holder, Picko, Rowe and Killeen I’d keep the rest a no from me. Brennan rumoured which would be a good start
  22. I don’t disagree but if you want to win you have to be ruthless and I feel away from home Kyle is not great and Kennetts performances away as guest have been very good and he would have much more scope to improve his average than Kyle,if Kennett and Lightcap both move out of reserve we would have potentially have Rushen and Harrison at reserve and if we have a weaker no5 then we’re guna need very strong reserves.
  23. Doesn’t Rule out a move for Doyle cookie. When I say returnees, I meant from this year.
  24. I’m Guessing Danny is the one returning & that rules out a move for Doyle or Emil it it turns out to be true. so many rumours at the moment looks like a very interesting winter
