  1. Past hour
  2. Glasgow when they track their full seven, imo are the best team in the CL & if Nagel had been available, they would probably have added to their winning margin, given his guest replacement, Jacob Hook, did not score a point from his four rides. Howarth's scoring from no.5 is impressive, especially when matches go down to the wire & the Harris/Howarth combination usually deliver the coup de grace in heats 13 & 15. For Monarchs a key factor in their recent decline in performance is that Victor Palovaara is still trying to recover from pneumonia which apparently has absolutely done him in. In hindsight it might have been better to have given him more time to fully recover. One positive I took from tonight's match, was MPT's best ride at the Dale since joining us, in heat 14 where he stalked Flint until the last bend & burst through on the inside to take the win.
  3. Glad to see that on the British Speedway Web site that Freddy was awarded 3rd place when he passed Hook on the line. On updates it shows Hook as being third. With poor Max getting injured it was a great performance from the 5 remaining tigers. A shame that guest Jacob Hook failed to score but no2 is a difficult position. Looking forward to tomorrow's meeting at Workington where it will probably be tight like many of our away meetings. Can the Tigers win again?
  4. Some good racing tonight from both teams, and a last heat decider to finish off another terrific Scottish Derby. Glasgow showing a bit of grit to pull through a chaotic night , Edinburgh pushed all the way. Fair play to both teams for an entertaining night of speedway.
  5. The inevitable heats 13/15 usual from us. Could see that coming a mile off.
  6. Today
  7. A comment that clearly shows you know absolutely hee haw about the true facts, so best leave the rocket science to others
  8. Not so sure Glasgow would want to give up there Friday nights
  9. But you know what will happen - Harrison will realise he has to get out if he wants to progress leaving the other six staying.
  10. Agree on Pijper I was very impressed. Feel for Scunthorpe fans. For those who say gut everyone bar Harrison are there six riders to come in? I'd keep Worrall and Allen just not as a 1 or even 5
  11. Cmon Gaz, you and I both know that itโ€™s a โ€œcouponโ€. Leave the sky sports chat to those south of the border. I will though. ๐Ÿ™ˆ
  12. Agreed, Harrison to stay ,the other 6 gone for me.
  13. He said "if" Scunny return next year then the whole attitude of the club needs to change and change from the top!
  14. Had a bit of everything that. Didn't really see what happened with Wright and Allen, but it got the whole place really rocking! We need more of that. Pijper was superb - quick from the gate, and when he missed it was able to make passes. Everyone else was really solid. Was impressed with Harrison for Scunny, but sad to see the demise of Worrall and Lambert who are normally good for big points here. Feels like they need to rip it up and start again with Harrison as a starting point.
  15. Just a quick mention and thanks to MPT on his assistance tonight. Top man.
  16. Definitely mate, winning is nice but good speedway is better, both is better again
  17. Had a good August so far taking in all the comets meetings 2500 miles following the comets ๐Ÿ˜„ and some good performances even if we did not get the win or bonus point
  18. Let's hope MJJ is in next years Grand Prix. He most likely won't win, but he'll be competitive. ๐Ÿ‘
  19. Wow! Pretty strong words from David Howe... may have just talked himself out of a job!
  20. Hope so mate, hope you're enjoying your speedway
  21. I want 6 changes next year. Pay Douglas, or Pickering big money and give us a genuine number 1 for starters.
