I think the performance of Flint tonight is pivotal. He's rather hit and miss and needs to ride well if Glasgow are to keep the scores close. Additionally, the Glasgow reserves are going to have to ride out of their skins to beat their opposite numbers. Intriguing stuff. It sometimes baffles me when riders use excuses like the track is different to last time, can't find the right set up etc etc. The likes of Bomber and Howarth have ridden there many times in the past so there should be no excuses. I'm a neutral and subscribe to BSN and although my nearest tracks are Belle Vue and Sheffield I have definitely enjoyed watching the Championship this year as opposed to the Premiership. As a northerner, come on Glasgow! Let's make sure those trophies are shared out.

The ball is in your court, Poole. The occasion is here. What will it be? Take your pick; a comfortable home win with little to no passing and a grey line to appear between the first and second bends due to a lack of dirt, or a proper evening of racing that will promote both the sport and competition? Wimborne Road has hosted some spectacular speedway in the past and as Gerry Facenna once said, āyou need to bring a show to the stadium. There is no point having follow the leader and itās not exciting and nobody overtakingā.

If there is/was the remotest chance of Prem next season I reckon Poole would be seeking a number of guarantees. Imo, Wednesday night racing; a big chunk of financial help to offset potential losses like in 2018/19 and an undoubted increase in stadium rent; and to not increase admission prices; a sufficient number of meaningful fixtures plus tv revenue. Otherwise what's the point? So, unlikely in my view.

Going off the average of 40 per team as per the last couple of seasons.
-
Why? What do you think the limit is going to be? You could be under the limit, but may still have to release a rider...
-
We're 1.4 over the limit after british reductions. If we're bringing Rew back then at least 2 changes will have to be made unless he replaces Doyle or Emil which then would make the team weaker imo

King's Lynn Stars 2025
Daniel Smith replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Don't read anything in to it. He didn't want King's Lynn in 25 but we were the only space available in the end. Can't rule out King's Lynn as an option unless they're dropping down or they've got proper heatleaders (š¤š») signed up -
If that was the case, the last thing the leaseholder would do is to request another speedway meeting this season. Guess what's happening at Oxford next Thursday? Old Bob, why not buy a ticket: Tickets ā OXFORD SPEEDWAY
-
So heās moving on from Kings Lynn? Do the Stars know this?
-
Would think probably not an amalgamation of the top 2 leagues, Richard Lawson says he's looking for a Premiership club, would surely be nailed on at Poole already if they did amalgamate the leagues.

Chris Harris, Dan Bewley, Tom Brennan, Paco Castagna, and then a pick between Fricke/Emil/Doyle. In my experience. -

THE DEAN MACHINE replied to THE DEAN MACHINE's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There is a point to this question as itās a bit of work Iām doing for the a future episode of the 360 podcast, who would you say is the 5 most popular riders in current British speedway ? Not the best but the most popular
