Anyway good to see Workington match on Saturday is on BSN, I'll be able to watch it after I come back from Berwick
-
Is that a fact?
-
That will certainly teach him.... And, be a lesson for anyone else who may think about doing something similar... I think we can all agree... This type of thing won't happen again...

King's Lynn Stars 2025
ONTWOMINUTES replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Cook will of earned more in Poland in one meeting than he would at Kings Lynn in a month so he'll hardly be bothered about being suspended. -
Yeah it's like when you play truant from school and they suspend you. Hardly much of a punishment!
-
Never had any intention of riding over here till middle of August anyway
-
Interesting that they've specified the regulation that was breached unlike the statement about Workington being docked 2 league points.
-
Danny please
-
Take that Ben Cook! You'll think twice before doing that again!!! 😂

Congratulations to the KL team, sorry the three riders who gave us a gating lesson last night. Looks like Kvech is getting over his injury which is good to see. One thing from last night was the track, yes a lot of tractor work during the meeting but I think there was one genuine pass in the meeting by Tom B in heat 13. Usually more passing when been before but didn’t seem to be the lines last night.

Is It Finally Time For One League?
cowboy cookie returns? replied to TheSmiler's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That’s the thing there aren’t new fans coming along in great numbers. When new ones do come along once the ‘issues’ like doubling up & guests pops up they tend to lose interest. Now I know the defence will be that guests have always been used but that doesn’t make it right. Which is another issue the sport has is that it doesn’t evolve. -
What happened behind the scenes is laid bare and open on Companies House. So its clear what has happened.
-
Maybe the fact people can't find these events is a far bigger issue than forum members being naive? If people on here with an active interest in the sport can't find them, how are newcomers supposed to? These 'opportunities' need to be far better promoted if they are to make a noticeable difference.

As a matter of interest what would BV fans estimate the attendance last night. Just curious as just watched Zach Cook's insta reel where it looks like big gaps in the stands?! Incidentally Zach has increased his BV average by just under 0.5 a point, whereas his Poole average has increased by over 0.6. BTW Happy Birthday today Zach.😀 -

Never said the crowds were big enough to support top riders quite clearly that was not the case. But its pretty clear as the standard of rider has dropped so have the crowds..New Fans are brought by old fans as a rule of thumb they have stopped going because the standard has dropped. Not really got any answers to solve these problems the same as everyone else..but its stands to reason in nearly entertainment or sport the bigger names the bigger crowds.
