Nonsense... Most races in Poland in the top league have at least three riders within 10 yards of each other over four laps and four when a top talent is riding as a junior.. And heat 15's can be truly spectacular, regardless of the result impacting the scoreline.. £1000 pound a poinr, with a six figure up front payment, focuses the mind..

Spent an hour in his company... And he talked me through the blue prints for his house he was building. ... .. I truly wasnt arsed, but the house looked great ..... A lovely engaging fella, and an absolutely outstanding speedway rider... -
Really ? Speedway tends to.be same nearly everywhere.. the race is over after the second bend and riders way apart from each other for the rest of the race . I watched Gps and meetings in Poland and they are the same 90 % of the time..another Speedway myth

Won't happen. Too far gone to be saved... No wider vision at all from those who run it.. They will, literally, pay millions collectively to riders who put hardly one extra bum cheek on a seat... Yet, Jack "Barry White" to a professional marketing company who could give these riders some profile, notice and resonance.. Imagine Barry Hearn with Dan Bewley? He would have him all over the place... Well meaning amateurs pretending they are professionals.. They have zero skill set for what they do... -

What a come down after the Grand Prix racing this is. Absolute tripe. Although embarrassingly for Eurosport the production quality and camera work is of a much higher quality in terms of viewing pleasure from BSN. -

I love Speedway and started off going down the Shay, Halifax at the back end of the 60's. Seen some fantastic meetings over the years but the match tonight is truly dire and is not doing speedway's reputation any good at all. It is truly awful. Probably a godsend that Birmingham are finished at the end of the season but nothing against the supporters (whom I have every sympathy with) and the riders. Unfortunately, it's just not happened for all concerned. A complete reset is required for next year. Seriously! Whether that involves an amalgamation of the two leagues or not, I don't know, but something major needs to happen. A total refresh but a top league with the likes of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Poole, Oxford etc etc would be a start. There has to be more variation with more teams involved and please bring back the Golden Helmet with decent prize money and sponsorship to attract the media's attention. Here's hoping. -

It's a shame Sudden Sam never came across on tv like he just did there, I've listened to him on a few podcasts also and he's quite an engaging character, never translated to comms unfortunately -

I am sure those in charge, will "learn" from this evening... And everyone will be contented with that. It's the modern way... Be "Barry White" but it's OK, as long as you have done your best.. . "I am super enthused to get it right next time".. -

The track was much better than the previous meeting - looks as if there was more material on it and well watered on a sunny and breezy day. Hats off to Graham. And what a healthy looking crowd on Fathers Day. Just a pity we have to wait so long to see this side ride again! -
Poland's meetings have jeopardy and consequence... Neither is applicable in the UK... Hence, they pay the big bucks, expecting riders to go that extra few yards.. Four riders can often contest a first turn, and even a full race.. Not something so usual, (outside of the play offs), over here...
