Piece in this weeks Star with Phil Morris on the international rule changes and how that will affect British Leagues so that’ll be an interesting read.
-
Dan did miss the UK out in 2022 when he rode in Poland and Sweden only, so maybe he plans to do the same next year?.. Edit. He won two GP's that year, and the British Final as well... Obviously was allowed to ride.!!
-
Rough guess. 1. T. Musielak 2. K. Thomson 3. N-K. Iversen 4. J. Lidsey 5. ? 6. M. McDiarmid (U21) 7. L. Harrison or A. Pijper (British U21)

Well I suppose I do have the time now I've retired Not sure I have the patience though! -
I read the statement as one British and then one U21 of any Nationality.
-
PTA info says Lidsey is back at Northampton, You'd also assume that Kye Thomson is back. Does that make Adam Ellis available for a Witches return?
-
harrison to leicester i think
-
Isnt it one british and one either british or international? Interesting if pjiper to northampton, wouldn't they stick with Harrison?
-
Not quite yet he’s not, pretty sure its close though, it’s the reserves is going to be the issue, I believe pjiper is the next best after the top 4 other lads
-
Where is the international u21 ? Pjiper is British, plus I think ace is going to Northampton
-
Currently is it more lucrative to be in the premiership or championship? I just feel like we're getting to a point where the only teams making a profit are those at the higher end of the championship!
-
absolutely bang on as per, do you want the job as head of the table

Ipswich Witches 2027

And will always be the case whilst team limits are set below what it takes to win a meeting It means season after season averages inflate and eventually if you keep inflating something it reaches the point it goes POP! Team total needs to be at 42 as a basic Below that you weaken the product gradually Raise the limit and over time the quality can rise - so long that quality is available willingly and able -
Brady 7.50 Zach 5.57 Max 4.84 Jaimon 4.00 Norick 4.00 Dan 3.00 Tom last pick RS Didn’t break the bank signing this lot.
-
we dont even know the limit yet so impossible to guess teams
-
It’s the way it works I’m afraid and I do agree. As a fan, do you want your club to win things or not? It’s that simple. Musielak and King make poor signings because of their GSA. Brennan has had an absolute stinker of a season but should be the first name on the team sheet. The perverse way Speedway works.
- Today
-
This is one of my biggest frustrations in Speedway, fans (or clubs) not wanting riders to come back because they did "too well"
-
Only just checked the Northampton thread after I posted on here. Stunned Belle Vue haven't got Jaimon back on his GSA.
-
Phil has said Lidsey is staying with Northampton. They’ll be the team to beat whatever anyone else puts together.
-
If it's a 40.00 Limit. 1. B. Kurtz 2. T. Zischke 3. B. Cook 4. J. Lidsey 5. D. Bewley 6. W. Cairns 7. A. Pijper (RS) = 39.88
-
whatever you all think we are run on a very strict budget
-
Absolutely no chance, zero.
-
i bet we are the lowest payers in the league
-
Can’t be true they’re the paupers of the League! They can’t afford such strength.
-
Not surprised that a bidding war is happening over the youngsters. The only Club that can get away with an average No.7 is Belle Vue imo and that's due to the top end power that Belle Vue always have to a point where you know that you're going to get over 30 Points just from the Heat Leaders at Home every week.
