Seems like the right call to me Sheffield is the most dangerous track in the league and add on the conditions it could have been a nightmare And before the usual suspects start moaning Sheffield and Belle Vue are the fastest tracks by some way but Sheffield is narrower and as Jack Holder says it only has one real line out wide so it becomes more dangerous on that aspect alone

See this is the problem ignorant people having a sly dig at Glasgow without knowing the full facts. An unlikeable self entitled fanbase and then having a cheap shot for helping another club out. Tells you everything you need to know about them. -

I think most would see this as a rant of someone whose team lost and trying to make excuses why they lost. Glasgow do not have a stream so most of us will not be able to see the meeting and comment on how amazing it is, plenty of dirt on the track, passing on every bend etc. -
With the final 3 matches of the regular season next Wednesday, we now know that Slangerup will host the Grand final on 24th September. Vojens are looking favourites to join them in the final by finishing 2nd. Holsted look likely to host the Semi on Wednesday 17th September. They will be joined by Grindsted, Esbjerg and Fjelsted with Region Varde the team missing out.

So Redcar have booked Vuolas who will more then likely help Redcar get the point ( I know they'll likely win at home next week Vs Workington anyway but) they need to secure the playoffs ahead of the team he's employed by? Only in Speedway 𤣠Ben Trigger guests for Declan Kennedy

Zischke rode well tbf to him. Deserved more than his 5 points from 5 rides suggests. On another night he mightāve scored 8/9 as he was on the pace throughout. Lidsey was the real let down and he was the key. Expected a far, far better night given his previous record around the AFA. Prior to yesterday, he had scored a very impressive 46 from 25 races in his last 5 visits for an average of 7.36. That swing was the difference.

Not like you to be defensive about your own team š have a day off with the bias. Nobody is saying that anything matters more than anything else, its just an example of how things could have been different. And shows that from a Lynn perspective we weren't a million miles away. All ifs, buts and maybes of course. So don't go looking for a disagreement where there isn't one, theres a good lad š

So you are just looking at Thursday's when Sheffield didn't ride ? Moving any one of their other fixtures to one of these dates would then have a knock on effect on other teams fixtures as well. I was looking at when this match could have been run sooner and the options were far more limited, as Ipswich were already riding on 4 of those dates. 1st May can be knocked off your list as that was British Semi Final night. There were no matches at all on 8th or 29th May - was this specified by British Speedway for some reason ? Last week in July was set aside at the start of the season for KO Cup Finals so no league meetings programmed.

You've said this before on another thread about Nagel being unable to ride in the uk. And I repeat why would a young up and coming Danish rider want to ride at Armadale. He is a polite young man so I'm sure he would have given a polite response should the monarchs have spproached him. It's a pity your Livingston project fell through. Has anything been built on.the site yet or were the new land owners just hoping you would offer them good money to lease the site? And what happened to the money that was going to be used for that project? -

So your saying that it has to be about money and nothing to do with the UK home track not suiting his style of riding ? I mean it's not like you've had a recent rider just bolt because he didnt have the track craft to ride Armadale. Dont have to spend millions to get good speedway or have a positive impact to the sport, your own club a prime example, racing at Armadale is regularly entertaining and your club are heavily involved in youth development in the sport, neither of which you can say about Poole. Rage bait 3/10 btw, effort was decent, originality disappointing. Come on Blobby I expected a higher caliber of troll than the old 'money' whinge. -

Also quite a few clubs don't own the stadium and in Pooleās situation, stadium use is short term future (last time i heard them asked about it in the press). I think Poole fans enjoyed H15. In fact quite a few were jumping up and down. So i think they were entertained enough. Also the track was way better than in previous weeks, so will take that. -

From where I was stood Glasgow were just holding their own till heat 7. The track grading did go on for a while, but was in both directions. Anyway as always it's the same for both teams. I'm begining to think Glasgow's form might be on a downward path, certainly Dan Thompson didn't show the form of his last visit guest appearance at Wimborne Road, I know everyone loves Bomber but I see a rider riding on experience rather than adrenaline, great in many ways but without an edge. Bowes was pants, the reserves mediocre, the rest inconsistent. That's why Glasgow lost, even though Kerr has rubbish bike prep, and Anders is struggling. Poole can be expected to come out on top overall with this one, unless Cami is able to work some kind of magic. -

The same Nagel who couldnāt fit UK into his schedule in the winter and the same one when asked a few weeks before signing for Glasgow who gave the same answer, then all of a sudden can do. So him showing an interest is utter crap, worked out ££££ well for him. Iām sure all other clubs would love to do half the stuff Glasgow have done to their stadium and track as well, however they donāt have a spare few million lying around like they do. -

King's Lynn Stars 2025
Daniel Smith replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If King's Lynn can get a win vs Sheffield (weather pending) I think, overall, the club can hold it's head up high to finish on 30 points. When you look at the Belle Vue septet, it's not a bad effort. The difference between the 2 clubs is clearly heatleaders. If the Premiership survive for 2026, it's an absolute must King's Lynn employs an 8.00+ No1
