  1. Past hour
  2. Might have been quite”handy” to miss a meeting though.
  3. Hmm averages..........funny old business.
  4. Debut for Edward Kennett ... will be interesting to see how he goes. SD Timmo Car Sales Oxford Cheetahs: Sam Masters (C), Edward Kennett, Anders Rowe, Luke Harrison (G), Mitch McDiarmid, Darryl Ritchings, Dayle Wood. Team manager: Peter Schroeck. Redcar Agilia Bears: Danny King (G), Ace Pijper, Simon Lambert, Jason Edwards (C), Jake Allen, Jake Mulford, Jody Scott. Team manager: Jade Mudgway.
  5. IF the meeting goes ahead, let’s just hope that Bangs comes back in refreshed after his enforced break, with a good attitude and a determination to do well and score some points. We all want him (well Ipswich fans anyway) to do well and be a success. Let’s hope he starts delivering so we don’t have to even look at potential replacements.
  6. quite a few contributors seem to be trolling the forum for some reason...over the winter there was too little comms. now its too much. i welcome the more regular developments. at least it shows we are being proactive in managing the team
  7. Agreed as we have said in the perfect world Buster doesn't want to be running Lynn but there's no buyers for the club so he keeps it running but wants to keep losses to the bone which is fair enough but like the flood of motor home gags flying out from north of the border you will always get blokes having banter hence my name tag from one of Lynn's most famous nights/lore.
  8. that is one of the benefits of AI they actually had the framework of the vaccine sorted in one morning.
  9. Better hope not as there doesn't seem to be a que to take over
  10. Today
  11. I don't think they done much wrong, it seems to me to be largely out of their control.
  12. All joking and P1ss taking aside, there must come a point where the reality drops in on British Speedway. They whether be lack of crowds, riders or whatever, seriously how long can a cockroach survive without it's head!
  13. Andrew Chisholm is in charge of the day to day running of the club, not Coleman who has his hands full elsewhere. Chisholm and Hurry put the team together, and decide on team matters, that was confirmed before the season started. I’m not quite getting this overreaction either. It’s all explained in yesterday’s article. They planned to use Kennett while the uncertainty around Bangs continued. They were less than impressed when a scheduled practice session after Thursdays meeting didn’t materialise when Kennett didn’t bother turning up so quite rightly binned the idea. They then booked Mulford as a guest for Thursdays meeting under the impression that Bangs would still be unavailable. That changed literally yesterday when Bangs himself is quoted as saying he only received the paperwork from Doctors to resume racing yesterday I have been working really, really hard to get some papers from the doctors to allow me to get started as soon as possible. I got that today, and now I am ready.” What have they actually done wrong here? I agree it’s an unusual set of circumstances, but circumstance it is. People are being overly critical and typical of this forum, overreacting to trivial matters.
  14. Common Sense.... Hence, it hasn't happened, (again)...
  15. Chris Louis must be shaking his head at this guy Coleman. Coleman will be a one season wonder he will realise soon he is out of his depth. Changes his mind like the weather and is useless with the rulebook. He will stroll off into the sunset at the end of the season.
  16. Just that will do for starters 🙄
  17. There's definitely a mentality of kick King's Lynn at every opportunity right now. Even when right. I've said many times, why should clubs take huge financial hits when the weather, even predicted, looks dreadful?? With the awful state this sport is in, early call-offs are now (and should be) the norm across the country.
  18. Probably more to do with commitments (overseas)than his average, tho another season in the championship would think makes sense, have tobe mid week track which doesn't give himmuch choice, might have to be prem only
  19. Will depend on how long it takes for him to break through into the Leszno number 8 position, same with Cairns who looked very good the other night for ZG.
  20. I am sure he will be in the championship next season, his average will level out when he is in main body of the team.
  21. Started at 8.30 and got heavier where i was. Might of got to heat 10 at a push. Then you would of had people moaning that they didn't get their moneys worth, and rightly so. So on this occasion.. Early call off = Buster gets S##t if the rain had stayed away... Run it till ht 10= Buster gets S##t , fans not happy.. Rains all Monday, track is under water = Buster still gets S##t because he still called it off to early..
  22. Have to agree. But should certainly do it next season
  23. and i would imagine a few of the riders Buxton would want to ride are already in Redcar Sunday too?
  24. You put your right leg in, your left leg out, you do the Hokey Kokey and you....fall flat on your face. So, Kennett's failing to practice has saved Ipswich from even further embarrassment!
