The Speedway Star reports have become the Daily Star style….dont let the truth get in the way of a good story. By the time Wright is fit enough to do two meetings in a week Bears season will be over but I’m glad he’s able to earn some decent wages at last even if it is in Germany-Poland.

Have they abandoned the meeting tonight? I paid to watch the stream, but so far have been treated to about 30 minutes of a previous meeting. After 57 years of following live speedway and being a season ticket holder, my wife and i decided not to go this season....and so far we haven't missed it. I've no idea how they expect to attract new supporters serving up this borefest every five weeks or so.

Never nice seeing a rider ruled out with an injury, but if I was pirates fan I’d be thrilled as the weakest link can be replaced. Normally never happens to your worst rider always one of your better ones.

... and all of a sudden in July 🤷‍♂️, the meeting countdown and sponsor introductions are back 👏 Word must have got out to Mr Morris (who is definitely still Premiership CEO) ... although the sponsor boards are have down on the centre green... again 👎🏻 I wonder if they get a refund 🤔

Poole have never taken any passengers on in the past and i wouldnt have replaced him if i had 2 reserves riding like they have either. may be another new good rider coming in 🤷‍♂️

So we are looking for a new 5.00 rider to UK, options who would come mid season with Europe’s commitments. But I’m sure there is a few riders available
