The die hards will be happy with anything,, they will be going anyway. As for the rest I think the team needs to be atleast competitive with a touch of excitement. I'm interested to know if there will be someone different looking after the track,, and how they will prepare it for some possibly good racing.

Could be strength in depth like Leicester.
-
If it's too late for an Out and Out No.1, Would anyone else be happy with a Top 4 of Brennan, Lawson, Musielak and Klindt? That should make Ipswich tough to beat at Home imo.

Is that the Northampton track site.🤔😂

2026 fixtures 😯😯
TheWellBehavedWorrall replied to Neila's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The fixtures are no longer just a bit late; they’re actively damaging. This lack of organisation impacts so many things; fans (including my own) ability to plan travel and book accommodation. BSN’s ability to market and sell, plus plan logistics, for both season passes and meeting coverage. Sponsors ability to plan corporate attendances and subsequently clubs can’t forecast hospitality planning. The impact this has on cash flow will be huge. I’ve normally booked one or two boxes by now, but I can’t because there’s no fixtures and as a result, Glasgow (or any other club) sees no income stream. BSN’s statement a few weeks ago gave me second hand embarrassment for the BSPL. Our sport will die under the leadership of these stakeholders who are not fit for purpose. -

Telford classic off road show

Linda unfortunately won’t be able to make the big reveal. However doing so now will be the Scottish queers, Ben Dune & Philip MCcrevis. Linda send her full apology. Reasons given she has no other support has her bra strap snapped. -
Yep. He could decide it was unfair to put riders through the pain of racing for six months and instead abandon the fixtures and go straight to the play offs with all five teams competing. It would be fairer for the riders, the public and the economy. Rachel Reeves will make a commons statement on how she can help financially which will include no VAT on all burger and chip sales during the play offs. That should sort UK speedway out for 2026.

Sweden have named their 3 riders taking part in the Ice European Championships in Varkaus on Saturday 21st February. Niklas Svensson Melwin Bjorklin Isak Dekkerhus

Telford classic off road show
piston197 replied to THE DEAN MACHINE's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yes have "met" Henry Cole a fair few times, and have had a stall next to him and opposite him, it is all" for the telly" you cannot get near his stall for idiots queuing up to buy an autographed Dunlop puncture repair outfit , or to take a selfie. Fair do's to the bloke , he gets bikes on the small screen and has monetized his antics, but is actually next to clueless on anything motorcycle, I have even explained to the chump what something was, and watched him do a piece to camera calling it something else, and still did not buy it. I have also been present at auctions and when you outbid him , he is not happy, nor can understand why someone else bid more ! I have the greatest respect for Sam Lovegrove and have known him for years and am in awe at the ability of Alan Millyard Glad it all worked out for you Dean, I have only once stopped for the Sunday in 20 odd years, and like all 2 day shows/autojumbles the second day is short on buyers and not cost effective for a second nights stop over. -
Northampton Stopgaps, which is basically all they are

Badenoch would blame Starmer, without providing a solution. Davey would demand a Public Enquiry. Polanski wouldn't be asked. Farage would blame the Turks.

Brafield Badgers.

I think we've had enough of the will they won't they Imagine if Starmer was involved - as soon as the announcement was made everyone would be waiting for the dreaded U-turn!
