  1. Past hour
  2. ARC own Newcastle Greyhound Stadium. The same guys who closed Birmingham and kicked speedway out of Central Park, Sittingbourne.
  3. You are right Poole can offer the rìders something else, it's called, Wessex Marine.
  4. Today
  5. Kings Lynn Training school was run by the late great Olle Nygren.
  6. Interesting reminisce there about the revival of West Ham in 1964. Gave me my weekly fix of speedway after the New Cross Rangers closed midway through 1963 in an ill fated attempt to run in the Provincial Leagues (the 2nd tier in those days) Lasted 10 years ish until the huge stadium and grounds succumbed to housing. The economics of running a " 1st Division" speedway sport business in the 21st century in the UK dont stack up.
  7. Aha, Young Buster, threatened to pull out of KL speedway and retire some tears ago, yet still raking in the money from the "Adrian Flux" Arena events . in he same breath took over Peterborough Panthers 🙂 and also had an interest in Ipswch Witches. Would be no great suprise if Buster was lurking in the background looking to pick up a bargain 🙃 All in the intersts of the sport of course 🙂 🙂
  8. Probably not at brough park but there are a couple of potential sites out in the sticks so hopefully maybe 1 day Never say Never
  9. Jamie Ruben & his brother are owners of the Newcastle stadium
  10. Think that's more than likely the team we'll go with
  11. I've Included the 25% Reduction from a 6.74 GSA quoted on gbspeedway.com.
  12. Does Flint get a 25% reduction as he was a rising star last year?
  13. Thanks for the info. I suppose I must give up all hope now. Been hoping since 1974, it's been a long time.
  14. The Sheffield 2026 side that I've been told is..... 1. J. Holder 9.08 2. L. Flint 5.05 3. C. Holder 6.84 4. A. Rowe 5.22 5. J. Pickering 7.76 6. J. Etheridge 3.00 7. L. Harrison (RS) = 36.95
  15. Sunderland is run by arc. The company who have just closed birmingham Newcastle Central Park Kent. Not good bed fellows of speedway.
  16. Oh guys. Look what you've done. You've upset Bluey. How was he meant to know that his reliable source in Poland was so unreliable and clueless? You're ruining his Christmas by signing all these G.P. riders!
  17. Well I hope between the pair of you ,you manage to pick a decent rider.
  18. There is a cracking Stadium in Sunderland which featured Speedway in 1964 and 1971 to 1974. The Stadium is much improved since those days, but as far as I am aware there are no plans to reopen Sunderland Speedway either.
  19. Would go for Pickering and Morris instead of C Holder and brennan and have a stronger reserve
  20. I was told on Sunday that Doyle will be Ipswich no1 ? And it was from someone who does know Doyle which would means he has to go back on his own statement so who knows but like you I’m just can’t get excited about the premier league, I just feel they are making a big mistake for the sport with 5 teams, as I said on the podcast on Sunday I know they are trying for another team and I know others are trying with other clubs too but as it is right now it’s going to be 5
  21. No sadly is confined to the history books, the only place that could possibly host speedway is Nottingham greyhound stadium but as far as I aware there no plans to ever reopen long Eaton
  22. I really don't care if he rides in this joke league or not, I was just relaying what I was told, it was not an opinion. Learn the difference...
  23. Jack Holder Leon Flint Tom Brennan Anders Rowe Chris Holder Jye Etheridge Luke Harrison
