  1. Past hour
  2. Riding at reserve is a lot different to riding at 4
  3. Lewi is decent at Brum and he’s in pretty good form… why do you think that?!
  4. Enjoyable meeting and nice to see you could actually pass if you did not make the gate.Enjoyed the interview with Sam Masters and was telling people he was flying from Liverpool for Poland. Most of the comets had there moments and was a solid display.
  5. Yeh i also heard this. Confusing though because the program yesterday stated he wasn't happy with his first bike a couple meetings ago and switched to his second. Why didn't he use his second instead of borrowing one.
  6. Yes I noticed Lawson letting Toby through in one race last night and when he got outgated by Nicholls he seemed to accept defeat. I would like to think its getting averages down but certain riders need to get their act together or we are sunk and I am not talking about Kerr who was very unlucky last night.
  7. And both can be true. I had a look at the scores in the back of the program yesterday and tates scores have been poor. Vuolas has put some brilliant scores together at home and the odd away but still struggles on some tracks. I sense the Oxford meeting will be a shocker for vuolas.
  8. But the parking is free lol Col must be getting behind the lads now lol
  9. Lewi Kerr is guesting at 6, I know that for a fact 🙌🏻
  10. Think the averages should go on as long as the season last for each team personally.
  11. While I agree with that, I would have said the same about Ben Cook & look what happened with him. Rider missing matches while racing abroad happens more & more these last few seasons, it's gotten to the point fans may wonder of their Polish club will "allow" them to race over here.
  12. Very much dependent on who the guest for Cook is. If we can get Ellis or D Thompson we stand half a chance of grabbing a result
  13. I’d like to think if he doesn’t win SEC, Dudek will be given the fourth wildcard! He has really found good form in league and SEC and Polish Individual.
  14. Farewell to Emil ?!?!?!? Could this season be the last of Emil in Ipswich? With 3 wildcards, and the possibility of them rising to 4, will łaguta and Emil finally get a spot back in the SGP? I know that SGP wanted them back in after listening to Emil speak but it’s 1 person on the FIM board who wasn’t allowing it. If Emil does get into the GP will he drop Ipswich to focus on that? It’s bad timing for Ipswich as I also believe he is on a 3 year work visa which either runs out at the end of this year or must be renewed, I also know the renewal cost is about £5,000. I sincerely hope not, but if he lifts the trophy this season, his job might be done.
  15. WORKINGTON / Downloads - Speedway Control Bureau
  16. Massive credit to Ben Barker That performance with the injuries he had would be up there with some of the old Peter Collins and Kenny Carter feats of the past. Barker has been his own worst enemy many times in the past but that natural ability has always been there! Plymouth, as I wrote about last week seem to have found a bit of a "magic formula" entertainment / action and a really positive vibe. If they could somehow retain Scotty for next season and get a full time no1 then they can be a real play off threat. No one works harder than Mark Phillips, he deserves MASSIVE CREDIT. Finally my take on Heat 3...seen footage from a guy on that bend, when you slow it down frame by frame it clearly shows Kerr clips Thompson on way in, that just wobbles Thompson in to back wheel of Lasse just as Kerr wipes Lasse out. I don't think it was dirty, but hard racing and whilst a broken arm for Lasse is desperate bad luck, it could have been far worse...
  17. I have only so far put guaranteed rider list. Of course when riders are guaranteed to be in it they will be added to my OP.
  18. And then if Thomsen finishes top 7 Vaculik will be promoted to SGP, and if Vaculik also gets top 7 Cierniak will be promoted to SGP 😂😂😂 but then it doesn’t finish there… because Woryna, Madsen, MJJ and Lebedevs are all in with a shout for SEC but I would assume Dudek will win it! If however, Dudek comes second, it’s noted on SGP page it won’t go down to the next person who isn’t in the SGP, it will be a fourth wild card, which I would like to think would be given to Dudek anyway. The line-up is completed by three permanent wild cards selected by the SGP Commission. If the SEC winner finishes inside the Speedway GP top seven, four permanent wild cards will be chosen.
  19. Gavan where are you? Shovvy is having a strop with Zach Cook!!!
  20. As Ben Barker said after the meeting, it had everything, thrills, spills and good racing. Congratulations to Plymouth for defying the odds and winning on the night. Heroic performance by Barker and Scott unlucky to break down on the Barker tactical. They could have got the aggregate too if that had not happened. Well done all at Plymouth, Gary May is a great manager who makes the right decisions. After that performance I can see Barker getting a few guest bookings.
  21. Today
  22. This is an interesting point and I understand what you're saying but we shouldn't forget... Plymouth only led in the meeting at the end of Heat 15. The Pirates kept them at bay all night until the final two races when Garry just instilled a mentality in the four rides he used to create something out of nothing.
  23. People will pay 20 quid for that each week , hope Plymouth had a great turnstile night . Fair play to barker too after smashing himself to bits weds.
