  1. Today
  2. C Holfder, Pickering, Etheridge. Not sure on RS. Would Harrison be up to it?
  3. Indeed - I've even known one time where a rider took such a knock to the left ankle that it caused so much pain and confusion it made him limp on the right one It's truly amazing the lengths they go to sometimes to entertain us. Hang on he didn't - he pulled out of the meeting instead
  4. Yesterday
  5. Loram must have been around 5 as he rode at number 6
  6. I must be looking at different results, hope I can see it round 2
  7. Probably lots of questions ..... but no one has any answers
  8. Absolutely would. Wouldn’t have any issue doing that whatsoever.
  9. Zischke has been great so far in Aus other than today. He had bike issues first 3 heats and then after that scored 2, 2 on his second bike
  10. Said he had bike issues, he's had a really good set of results in Australia so far in stronger fields than the Aussie champs were today.
  11. Garrity was released on license and ended up back inside. So that should answer that. Regarding the poster who asked if anyone making these comments would say them to Garritys face, I absolutely would.
  12. Well it will be tricky to ride without those things!
  13. The state of the sport makes this a quite exceptional case. If he were a footballer and he wanted to return to playing there would be a club somewhere that would overlook his off pitch discretions for the sake of having his talent on the pitch. Even if that meant dropping way down the leagues initially. If he were a snooker or darts player etc. he couldn't be stopped from earning a tour card and working his way back up the rankings. Speedway clubs are all in a pretty precarious position, it would be an immense gamble for anyone to take him on. He has done his time. Hopefully he has turned his life around and can contribute positively to society. I don't think that'll come astride a speedway bike.
  14. I read his interview in the star, he says is is truly sorry for what he did, he also says that if he could apologise to the people directly he would, this suggets maybe it isn't possible for whatever reason.
  15. Yep every season different,Zischke poor rd 1 ausie champs ,hope he improves before season starts
  16. I watched the coverage of Round 1 of the Australian championship on BSN today. Jaimon Lidsey was interviewed by Greg Blair and Jaimon said he hasn't got a UK team yet.
  17. I reckon they will go with Chris Holder, Josh Pickering and Jye Etheridge. Rising Star either Jody Scott or Luke Harrison.
  18. I cant remember any assessed averages back then. in 1975 he rode at 7, 6, and finished the season riding at 5.
  19. So that's Poole, Krakow and Brovst Richard has contracts with so far! Not bad for no sponsors, no bikes, no mechanic is it?!
  20. I didn't get to see him in the very early days/at his best as I started going late 84, when he had his first comeback at Lynn after a year or so off in 1985 in the first race he blitzed Eric Gunderson but after that he could be brilliant, very average or missing in action to the point where Rogers eventually booted him out. I remember one night when he got a 15 point max (we still lost) but the team riding between him and Bobby Schwartz was the best I have ever seen in the game from 1985 to present day. To me as he was so tall he never looked entirely comfortable on a bike but he was one of the greatest natural talents for sure.
  21. Richard Lawson back with Krakow, hope they have heard he has no bikes
