If it rains it usually only dampens the inside metre of the track, the roof covers most of it. They really are flogging a dead horse putting on meetings that don't involve the Poles in Poland. 40 minutes to go and it's virtually empty. No merchandise on sale, autograph signing was cancelled " due to weather" - no one turned up.

Went to the 2012 GP there, bucketed down with rain for well over an hour before. Between the roof covering most of the track, the covers on the inside of the track & the track staff, it went ahead seamlessly. Fingers crossed no rain and if there is hopefully same will apply again...

They have a roof that covers 80% of the track. They put covers down on the rest which is round the inside on the bends.

What's the weather protection for the track like at Torun? I see rain is forecast for Saturday evening, don't want a totally wasted trip!

unfortunately not every team can be a winning team no matter what sport though. fans (me included) can be very fickle, so its down to the promoters to get people there even if there team isnt winning.
