All this waiting, and the ‘dodgy’ track just produced one of the best first laps of a race I’ve seen in a long time.

Probably only got 1 ambulance at the track as well which will cause another lengthy delay if they have to call a county unit.

14 teams without doubling up cannot operate in the uk unless you have two leagues. One league without doubling up cannot be more than 8 teams (max) and then if some additional foreign riders can be attracted to ride in the Uk - it’s not an opinion it’s just the sum of the math & available race nights.

A "wet weather" setup needs to be devised, like in other motor sports where a specific setup is applied to the machinery to make it usable in the wet, what that would be in Speedway I'm not sure as I'm not mechanically minded but other sports seem to manage it.

Well I enjoy the parades and would have felt short changed had they just got on with it. I hope they have an interval too.

GB should adapt heat formula at in Poland least the Team Manager has a few options during the Meetings.

What needs looking at? Modern bikes? Tyres? Surface prep? And if you looked at it, what would you see that’s worthwhile changing?

Can't believe they are having a full presentation parade after the length of the delay! Just send the riders out on the bikes with their helmets on to do some practice starts and get on with it! Total farce!

thinking of going to Leicester.

I think 2H 2A is overkill in a 14 team league. One round off league fixtures and then find other ways to fill the calendar for me. But not the extent of trying to fit in another 13 meetings at each track. Be it extra regionalised league meetings, a cup/trophy etc. We’ve been meandering towards the last one out turn off the lights scenario for decades, things have picked up pace now though. It needs radical change, not the lip service we get every winter.

Deffo going with some flags and support the boys 👏🏻 would love to have a good atmosphere at Leicester and Foxhall in our final! Makes it such a better spectacle

75mins after the start time, Edwards and McDairmid went around without any drama. It finally got announced that the meeting will go ahead. All expecting it to start ASAP, and just been told there is another 30-minute delay. It’s a comedy show.
