  1. Past hour
  2. Then you missed out on some very good racing last night, the score didnt reflect the standard of racing well done both teams
  3. Today
  4. Interview with Gavin Parr on the stream tonight before the meeting. Gavin spoke about Riss' absence saying he didn't expect he would be back this season. That he would love to see him return over the coming weeks, but expect he'll need around 6 months out (based on previous occurrence).
  5. Yes he had a 10.66 average in 87. He scored 11 full maximums and 2 paid. Great rider 👍
  6. I think considering how weak the two reserves are, Glasgow are really doing well. They only need one of the reserves to step it up a bit and you will have the beating of Poole home and away IMO
  7. Was that the straight and narrow Morris ? In for a hard time in the top league ,what were they thinking
  8. I don't think Cairns would take lightly (is that the correct term) to being told to "take it easy" to lower his average. Especially as he obviously went to Poole as they were the best club to help him progress in his career, right? After all look at how much effort Poole put into development league speedway 🫢
  9. Yesterday
  10. Job done, professional performance by the boys, Kye and Sedgy both very good tonight. MPT anywhere that’s not scunny is rubbish and a real concern come the business end of the season as he could cost us.
  11. Solid display from Scunny but heat 15 has been a real problem this year. Worrall 8 points and Allan 6 points from heat 15(home) this season, not really good enough from your 1 and 2. Douglas would have scored double that by himself.
  12. Luke was the quickest scorpion all night clocking 2 fastest times .
  13. Clearly you do need your eyes checking because we had exactly the same view then because I was a also on bend 2 & managed to watch all 4 laps of every race with no problem at all. It’s appearing to me you are trying to find a negative from last nights meeting but to be honest . People are just laughing at you when you say you couldn’t watch the racing because of the dust you are just making yourself look a fool everyone in the stadium & watching on BSN can see there was nowhere near enough dust to impact viewing the whole track. @IainB is also the first person to criticise the club when he feels appropriate so to say he is a positive happy clapper of the club is very wide of the mark .
  14. Regardless of who was winning or losing the deciding race, to allow anyone at all to stand inside the exclusion zone while a race continued is inexplicable. As there has been considerable photographic evidence of this (and, l presume, video coverage) the SCB will have to take action. Not regarding the end result, but because of the blatant disregard of the H&S aspect. Heads must roll.
  15. I agree, but it makes Glasgow much stronger. Unfortunately, our reserves haven't come on enough so far this season. Max is taking strides now, but Freddy is still struggling. But we're still a decent side and good fun to watch.
  16. Smarte may well have been doing what was expected of him to begin with, but since Cairnes has joined the party his form has fallen off a cliff, probably not helped by Cairnes being chosen for heat 14 too. If you have a suggestion for an alternative rider now would be a good time to talk to the Fords.
  17. He would of been smoked, picked the 2 quickest and experienced riders
  18. He would of been smoked, picked the 2 quickest and experienced riders
  19. Wow that is 1 hell of a lot of exaggeration , Ben Barker can only be 5ft 5” on tippie toe !!
  20. Smarte had been doing what was expected of him but it seems to me that Smarte's form is falling off a cliff since Cairnes arrival not helped maybe when Cairnes is chosen over him for heat 14. If anyone has a suggestion for an alternative, now would be a great time to have a word with the Fords.
  21. Well deserved home win, Edinburgh should comfortably make the playoffs imo. Poor team management as per from Dickson, should’ve kept the TS for heat 13 as would’ve expected Wood/Smith could’ve beat Loftus for the 3-3 in 12. I know he expected Killer to beat Sedgy but given how uncomfortable Morris looked I would’ve have had him out of 13. Bottom end far too weak with Smith and then Hagon having to be at 2. If/When Morris gets up to speed it’ll all be way too late to even get close to the play offs.
  22. Yeah I meant Zaine. Same principle, I can understand wanting to use your top 2 in heat 15, but once they lost a 5-1, think you'd go for your unbeaten rider? We'll never know of it would've made a difference, but do know, sticking to the same pair didn't work.
