  1. Past hour
  2. they do. they will always have a strong reserve still, they can now get an 8 point rider in for lawson
  3. Back to business last night! Such a emphatic start we could afford to ease off during the middle of the meeting. Glad the injured lads come through unscathed
  4. Spot on Phil, this is the problem with the Keyboard generation, they chat nonsense without sitting down to actually think about what they are saying. For anyone doubting Brady have a look at Rentrucks twitter post from last night, Brady is dealing/riding with multiple injuries at the moment. If we had those injury's we wouldn't be working, yet this lad is fighting on, the fact he is riding well doesn't or shouldn't detract from the pain he is riding through, but hey you keyboarders keep typing.
  5. Wow and you say you aren’t a troll lol Kvech last time scored 4 riding at number 5 from 4 rides meeting Bewley and Kurtz most rides His replacement scored 4 riding at number 6 If Kvech rode at 6 last night in the form he was in he would have had 7 rides against Belle Vues poor second strings and reserves…. Even if he had 7 rides and scored 7 it would have been a draw Blodorn one of the better number 2’s? He hasn’t kicked on this season I’m sure other teams would swap King Rowe, Becker , Riss and Iversen for Blodorn?? Not a chance By all means support your side but trolling and missing their shortcomings is blinkered and childish You have 2 of the best 4 riders in the league (Holder and Emil the other 2)…. At home those 2 will get 24-26 points a meeting almost unbeatable … but if the other 5 struggle you won’t win by much as proved last night ….. I love the stat about Bewley and Kurtz winning races last night …. They should against a side with no out and out heat leaders You will beat Ipswich next week I wouldn’t expect Doyle who beat the top two …maybe Emil might once or twice ….but if Cook and Blodorn don’t score well we might win
  6. If it's BB that's signed then it is a very poor signing indeed, Ben is struggling to get points away from home in the Championship never mind scoring in the Premiership, his home average for 2025 is 6.82 and his away average is 2.93 he is on a big downward spiral and is barely a decent 2nd string these days and that's in the Championship, in my opinion they would be better off asking Vuolas back or an Aussie from Scunthorpe.
  7. need to remember jan not had any good meetings at belle vue so jan being there wasnt a given to score lots of points i was surprised with harrison in 14 but he held his own all night tbf, had some good battles. you are a no1 away from being a threat to ipswich
  8. why dont you message brady and ask him to show u his injuries, you might stop being a prat then
  9. Today
  10. Unfortunately the choices for guest were very slim pickings, I think Rowe was worth the risk as he rides BV well and has been in pretty good form, but it didn't work out. Other choices just weren't in the same ball park. I also think you really need to get out of your black and white world and stop constantly hammering team managers for their choices every single meeting, you keep calling them out for mistakes without really having a clue what goes on in the pits. Perhaps you should ask one or two if you can shadow them on a race night to see what actually goes on rather than being a Clever Trevor from hundreds of miles away.
  11. How about heats 14 & 15 for a start? I know I'm biting to a troll (shame on me I know) but Kvechs 4 last time was in the top five and not on the back of 16, 18 and what should have been double figures in a GP. The way he has been riding I'd not have put it past him to have beaten Bewley and Kurtz but we'll never know.
  12. I totally agree Dean I can't believe that clubs and sponsors allow riders to engage in other dangerous sports ,the nature of the beasts makes them inclined push the limits whatever they do .
  13. The Stars now have the perfect opportunity to make a change in the team and be ruthless if they want to make an end of season play-off push. Lawson could be replaced by an 8.00 rider and still come under the 40-point limit without a second change being required. Im not saying it’s even remotely realistic, but if Rob has any play-off ambitions then we need an out-and-out No. 1 to try and mitigate what happened on Thursday and last night. In our 8 away meetings this season, we have conceded 5-1’s in 6/8 heat 13’s and 5/8 in heat 15…
  14. With the random fan shot of them "going wild" as Kelvin described, being about 15 people, several sat in camping chairs, with loads of space between them and around them... An amazing overtake to hopefully get some interest from anyone watching who may not follow the sport... And then a clear message delivered of "does anyone go to this sport?".. No FOMO message unfortunately, which the sport over here could desperately do with delivering when on TV .. Maybe for TV meetings, (as they obviously don't want to reduce prices to get more people in), possibly close certain areas to make supporters stand or sit closer together? Zooming in on a hundred or so together celebrating (thus also hiding the camping chairs😁), must give a much greater "brand image" than sadly gets generated currently every time the two hours worth of advertising goes out... These moments are the ones that can truly "sell the sport", but the lack of a crowd shot showing massive enthusiasm and volume of people, sell it far, far too short... One of Poland's "wow factors" is exactly this. If Emil had done that over there the camera would have panned round on thousands wildly celebrating which only reflects positively on the sport, and creates positivity for the sport, giving it a "I must not miss this" vibe, which then in course brings more in to watch... People are like sheep, they will follow what others follow if you can generate enough interested people in the first place. That is where hype comes in, and it doesn't have to be all true.... Zooming in on a 100 can make the place look full and somewhere worth me visiting "because they have"...
  15. Definitely ht14.With just that I would expect Jan,with the current form he was in to score another 4pts more than Rowe. That would meant beating the reserves and Cook.More than possible imo.
  16. The camera angles are embarrassing. How did they consistently miss every single bit of action. Particularly in Heat 10 with Emil. And even after the race when he was clearly doing a lap of honour... Random crowd shot for a solid 15 seconds rather than the actual action...
  17. Yesterday
  18. You may be thinking of the wrong Ben, but you’re not far off.
  19. IF stay fit. Is, and always was the best team in the league. Hopefully this time the best team lifts the trophy.
  20. I think Leicester will finish 3rd and BV 4th. BV have a lot of difficult fixtures to come yet (Including 4 Meetings vs. Ipswich)
  21. Tactical? Passed Becker in the averages last time I looked but that score could put him back below Luke. Keeps Fricke getting a r/r ride.
  22. He’s taken the bait and descended to replying to trolls at their level. It’s their endgame and something I’ve fallen for in the past. They make it a far worse place on here as they infect the entire site.
  23. A mundane run of the mill win with little to get the heart pumping. If the track is as gate’n’go next week the gaters from Ipswich will make mince meat of us. If it’s the usual race track it will be fantastic. Rowes 4+2 was no match for Jans 4+1 from last time and probably cost the stars victory. The win helped put some daylight between us in the qualification table at 8 points (11 if we win the meeting with the Brummies that we have in hand). Will it be enough? Who knows at this stage and that’s what makes the play offs so enthralling. Noricks off night kept things close. His previous league scores are pretty consistent at home with 7+2, 8, 7, 7, 7+2 so hopefully tonight was just one of those nights. Looking at the team declarations he’s one of the better number two’s so hopefully he’ll maintain his usual good form. At just turned 21, he is certainly the youngest and I’m excited to see how he progresses with age.
  24. I have a fear of getting injured doing something else, the likes of gollob, adams comes to mind and sort of puts me off doing something like motox even if it’s just for fun, I am stupid enough to do it but it’s the getting injured doing something out my chosen thing stops me,riding a speedway bike getting injured doesn’t even cross my mind because it’s sort of my thing that I’ve always done if that makes sense
