  1. Past hour
  2. Plymouth? Whatever Mark Philips is doing down there, others need to follow suit.
  3. The latest statement from the Bulls chairman is utter bull !! Yorstox have the F1 World Final this year - the biggest event on the stock car calendar. There is no way they would choose not to run it at the largest capacity stadium in the sport. One of the promoter's sons even raced at the 2025 WF meeting in September with the date and venue of the 2026 WF advertised on his aerofoil as being at Bradford. He is implying that they only lifted the shale when Yorstox told them they were not planning to run there in 2026. This is untrue as I know for a fact that the shale was lifted in December. The first Yorstox knew of it was when someone who attended a funeral wake at the stadium for an ex-driver sent them a photo. The F1 fixtures for 2026 were delayed in being published as Yorstox were suddenly left without a venue and they have had to arrange to hire other tracks in order to run their allotted meetings, including moving the WF to Northampton. Probably the only reason they haven't completed the changes to the pitch is because they knew that Yorstox had a lease and would take legal action against them.
  4. I appreciate the Luke situation given his age and reliance on family for Travel but he did turn up a lot at Berwick from an early age.Iam quite sure if the right over comes in he won’t mind the travel though.
  5. Sorry, I thought you were asking who the stadium owners were.
  6. While learning all sorts of rules/ regulations etc while helping to try and get cradley back, one thing we have found out is a football club will not get funding off the FA if they share the ground with another sport like speedway, I wonder if that’s the same for rugby
  7. The rugby club say it’s the stox that have pulled out not them kicking them out and they haven’t made the pitch bigger because they didn’t know the stox were pulling out, I think one side isn’t telling the truth I’m just not sure which side it is
  8. The stock car people have 20 years left on the lease, but the rugby club are doing all the can to put them off.The shale has been scraped off the track and dumped where the stock car pits used to be.I can't see any way motorsport will return to Odsal, unless the rugby club go ** up again.
  9. You are right Dean. Whatever happened to Public Relations?
  10. What is the deadline for Northampton (if it is actually Northampton) to declare ya or nay? we are 11 days away from march, 27 days away from first meeting, the secrecy is beyond a joke, no premier fixture list, no statements to the paying public, speedway has committed some real shoot itself in the foot moments over the years but this is just another level
  11. Today
  12. They're not running the speedway though are they? Surely they'd have gone for buying Ippo ahead of a start up at Northampton if they were interested in running Speedway?
  13. Have you tried driving down the M1 on a week day afternoon ? It's far from fairly easy. I live near J28 and used to be able to do the 60 miles to Coventry in an hour for a Saturday stock car meeting. When I went to the occasional Friday night meetings it used to take me an hour just to get the 40 miles to J21, and it gets worse once you get below J19 and the M6.
  14. Yet some of the owners of British betting companies were the biggest UK tax payers last year
  15. have you heard the story's coming out of las Vegas how places there are going down hill, they are pricing themselves out of buisness.
  16. Well, for at least the last 2 years, the riders have been consistently unable to put bums on seats, the same goes for the GP's.
  17. Can’t compare him with Garrity and wrong to do so.
  18. Strange how all but vinnie have lower averages in the Ndt than Ndl I know why Luke's is but does seem odd
  19. Sorry about the spelling Sotonian. I wasn't sure.. So long ago, I could not remember the spelling.
  20. Approximately 6.5 miles from the centre of Northampton.
  21. Braefield/Northampton, are they one and the same? There used to be a Track at Braefield many years ago - is this the same place? Just out of interest, when Braefield closed, the Track Record Holder was Pete Wrathall (former Sunderland 'Star'). I suppose if it does, hopefully, get going - then he will still be the Track Record holder?
  22. Low bar? Start digging towards the earth's core and you may find that bar.
