  1. Past hour
  2. Give it a rest. What's the cut of age for a troll these days.. But i'll bite.. Oh, when were Poole at Sheffield?, I must of missed that one. Oh yeah, he wasn't riding for you... It was in a different league.. Oh, neither was Lawson riding for you, who scored 4 in the same meeting for Sheffield. You must of forgot, or wasn't you bothered because he wasn't riding for you?. Same as Lewi then.. Utter dregs, the pair of them
  3. Tobias Thomsen for Klindt? You’d prefer RR with Nicholls, Barker, Joe T and Fredriksen/Bowtell surely? Guests make a mockery of this sport.
  4. Fricke has been fantastic, I don't think using his replacement ride so early is the best use of him. Masters is usually in Heat 1 when they use r/r at 2
  5. How can that be? Riss average is listed 7.12 and Sedgmen is7.13?
  6. Connor Mountain and Jye Etheridge were my immediate thoughts, but don't know if they would fit with the averages. What I do know is that if we go into the playoffs with our current team we won't beat any of the others over 2 legs. As well as replacing Kerr and Sedgmen, somebody also needs to buy Jack Holder a new pair of gating gloves as his starts have been woeful for Sheffield this season.
  7. This one's on BSN. They are currently showing Tobias Thomsen at 2 for the Gladiators with Tom Spencer at 7 ... And for the Cheetahs, Starke at 2, R/R at 3 and Zaine Kennedy riding number 4. Plymouth Gladiators: Scott Nicholls, Tobias Thomsen (G), Lasse Fredriksen, Joe Thompson, Ben Barker (C), Alfie Bowtell, Tom Spencer (G) Oxford Cheetahs: Sam Masters (C), Paul Starke (G), R/R, Zaine Kennedy (G), Cameron Heeps, Francis Gusts, Luke Killeen.
  8. Morris has already signed for Berwick from the start of August
  9. In the star it says Sedgmen is the guest on Saturday for Riss.
  10. Today
  11. I would hope if either were interested in riding in the UK Oxford or Birmingham would have picked them up already.
  12. Not if you use Fricke in heat 3. In theory it gets the team.off to a strong start. If Fricke has a stinker in heat 1 you could put Howarth in who'd have already been out once or give Masters an outing prior to his first programmed ride.
  13. Good luck Nick Morris 👍 he was really good last time he rode for Berwick.
  14. Business as usual then? And just plod along until the inevitable happens? Working around Poland and riders that prioritise test sessions and U24 matches ahead of the UK?
  15. The concept is good and very much alongside the numbers back in the day, when UK had pick of race nights and plenty of riders available to make up the teams which is now sadly far from the case.
  16. Steve Worrall said earlier in the season that he only wanted to do the one league. Although Sheffield have until the 10th August to make a change, 75% hits on the 11th when they ride against Belle Vue. By the 10th August Scunthorpe will only have 2 meetings remaining, as i doubt they will make the play offs, so maybe he will do more than one league for a couple of meetings if it extends his season into September
  17. Craig's last home match was May 17th But due to rainoffs, Workington postponment and blank Saturday's he has only missed last 2 home meetings against Redcar & Edinburgh.
  18. With the new GSA out for August and Paul now on a 4.00 - a good time to look around and see if any new 4.00 riders are willing to come over to the UK?
  19. think it was more edwards not wanting to return to brum. he didnt want to be there anyway. he would have knows ipswich needed an RS so for a selfish point of view why not want to go where a team will have more matches, a team that will pay on time and a team that can win gold, it was a no brainer for jason
  20. And Nick Morris is on his way back to Berwick... as long as he steers clear of Leicester someone else can have him.
  21. Not great, left after heat five due to the GF getting cold! a few bike failures and crashes (fell on their own not fighting for position) but they tried their best, when I left I believe Mildenhall were winning but I could stand corrected.
  22. Was also talk of Bellago looking for a club in the UK not so long ago
  23. 13 opponents is 26 matches 1H1A, throw in a cup competition and that's a minimum of 26 matches, a cup run and pay offs takes that to around 30. Maybe bring back a 4's... which were always popular meetings and you're starting to put a credible season together.
  24. If clubs elect to choose a race night say other than Monday or Tuesday, they might well be able to make up a team of riders willing to forgo commitments abroad. However, the issue would be other teams would not have the same type of availability, especially for riders contracted to Polish leagues. Not sure how you come up with 28 matches. is that a league of 14 clubs (13 opponents) home and away plus some sort of cup competition or a league of 8 (7 opponents) home and away x two? The latter would/could work (fixed race nights) but the first is a none starter simply because of the removal of doubling up.
  25. I thought of that but as the potential missed match is his debut wouldn't that be a 75% guest? [And therefore lower than Cook]
