I've never understood the argument that fans will find something else to do when there's big gaps between meetings & not return? By that logic fans wouldn't come back after the winter break, having found something else to do!

Well it's a 140 mile round trip & I'd seen Leicester before at NSS this season, plus did that trip twice last weekend and I haven't seen Kings Lynn at NSS this year who visit next week.

I think Jake Allan would expect to reach an 8 point average if you asked him and Edwards isn’t progressing and has stood still, I get we should always have a strong reserve partnership but we should be expecting more than 0 for Edwards at home or 5 points between Klindt and Allan, simply not good enough I’m afraid.

Some good racing tonight despite the scoreline. Doyle was superb in his first ride with Will Cairns and was a class act all night. Kildemand, Blodorn and Zischke will all feel more confident after scoring well. I'm sure Belle Vue would have lost money though - a very poor attendance and lots of points money to pay out.

Thing is you look at that scorecard and only Bomber can you criticise for his score, the other four did what you'd expect/want really. Tough job when you go down to five riders early on, just have to take the win and move on to the next one.

Dug that one out from somewhere. We always looked stronger in heats 13 and 15 the way Fricke and Kvech were going.Even more so giving Kvech had 2 races with only him in it for Lynn. Hopefully Jody isn't too bad and we see him on Thursday at Ipswich.
