  1. Yesterday
  2. I’m with you now. Completely misread it 😂 Going to put the beer down now. 😁
  3. Could be….if they get the timing right .
  4. Well that makes two of us because I can’t understand your response 😕 Im fully aware of how the system works having run teams in the NJL for over 10 years. I was complementing Edinburgh for having an academy that is actually producing riders without which there wouldn’t still be a NJL. It’s just a shame that most of the kids are are too young for the 500’s just yet but I’ll be watching out for Hague etc .
  5. You can only pick 2 riders and we’ve picked 2 from our actual academy. So not entirely sure what you’re on about. 😂
  6. Workington, Scunthorpe, Leicester run regular sessions, Iwade run a few, could probably add I.O.W. ( but not many ). From the sound of it you can now add Buxton, Glasgow and a probably a few at Mildenhall. Not sure what Belle Vue are planning. Duns hasn't been used for a few seasons . Redcar, sadly, no longer run anything. Lack of numbers seem to have made amateur meetings a thing of the past. Even second half events are becoming rare at tracks now. Whilst Im aware of a few private ‘schemes’ that hire tracks to give people a chance to try speedway they seem to be mainly attended by the older generation just wanting to say they've had a go, with the odd kid joining in. Gone are the days when Stoke, Kings Lynn and Scunthorpe ran regular amateur challenge matches at all levels as there were that many riders taking part.
  7. Whilst theres quite a few kids on 125’s thanks to the Edinburgh Acadamy theres not a lot of kids on 500’s to pick from, certainly not enough for all 5 teams so expect a lot of ‘guests’ in that class.
  8. “Many tracks offer opportunities and different organisations offer these to facilitate new riders.” Well DUKES, can you list these ‘ many tracks ‘ ? As theres now only 16/17 tracks in the country and I can think of only around 4 that provide REGULAR sessions, this will improve with the inclusion of Buxton and a few sessions at Glasgow , Mildenhall. Amateur meetings are virtually dead now.
  9. Dependent on location it would make sense, If for example Edinburgh, Glasgow and Workington ran training/practice sessions then working together would make sense so dates didnt clash. Berwick, Buxton and Plymouth i daresay could all run on the same day
  10. Edinburgh announced there team best team this week no passports required refreshing change
  11. Nicolai is putting on a really exciting testimonial. NK Testimonial on Facebook provides all sorts of information. He's also putting on a special event the night (also in King's Lynn, but at The Rathskeller) before where he'll be chatting to fans, alongside Niels-Kristian Iversen and Mads Korneliussen, about their careers. Full details for that at sportingknights.co.uk/events
  12. Yes so rename the league and tell all the waiting riders to find something else to do this year
  13. He did post that his contacts (plural) were signed 🤔 And you'd think that as he's signed for NDL that would exclude him from CL with fixture clashes, so that leaves Monday & Thursday PL 🤔 😂😁
  14. Is this the same for a champ conversion?
  15. Billingham about 10 miles from Redcar
  16. No. An assessed 8.00 is an assessed 8.00 It's not a GSA of 8.00 from 2025, which would attract a 2.5% discount.
  17. I agree. 8.00 - 2.5% British Reduction = 7.80
  18. I wouldn’t be suprised if he did
  19. Haps Adam Roynon is making another comeback.
  20. Ive got 7 bikes and a van and all the riding gear but there isn’t enough werthers origonals or saga holidays to temp me to ride in the leagues again 😂
  21. Can't imagine Lambert getting in on the 7.81 GSA. He only did 6 matches in 2023. All the other matches in that rolling average are 7 years old from 2019. I'd expect him on an assessed 8.00 as a GP rider.
  22. Tungate is very hit and miss full stop. Well overrated and his reliability is questionable at best
  23. I don't know. How much is a big bag of werthers originals?
  24. Tungate was very hit and miss round Foxhall even when he rode there for a few seasons, would still rather see Ellis fitted in somewhere rather then Tungate or even King.
