  1. Past hour
  2. Tanked out again. Can no one cope with water😅 An island surrounded by water as it would be and gold fish following speedway riders by not even giving it a go, no hope for sport in this country. I’m off to the Sahara desert for a bit of sand racing.
  3. Strange to see his score at end of a meeting at the NSS.... I don't buy a programme so never keep scores... However, just watching him race he always seems to be in the mix most times, yet ends up with a score that doesn't ever seem to reflect his efforts... I do remember him scoring well in the SON....
  4. So here at the stadium after a couple of heavy rain downpours the top surface of the track is being bladed off. Sun is shining now but Riders from both teams showing concern. Should make for an interesting meeting..... ....
  5. As others have said with current crowd numbers, No mainstream TV deal and costs of travel now clubs have to make early decisions based on a variety of weather forecasts. Quite a few Leicester fans on here and on Facebook complain about these call offs but these are the same people that if drizzling at 4-5pm Thursday night then don’t come Speedway anyway. I don’t believe any fans like standing in the rain with long track work delays then watching slow boring strung out races. Nearly all forecasts are showing significant rainfall on Thursday some saying up to 7cms onto an already wet and waterlogged track if the meeting had been tonight it would have been called off
  6. Since I blocked you and your aliases - no not at all. No need to respond I won't see it, count the hairs on the palm of your hand instead.
  7. Group 3 result from Torun today Leszno 4 Torun 3 Pila 2 Lublin 1 Cumulative scores after 2 of the 4 rounds Torun 6 Leszno 6 Lublin 5 Pila 3
  8. Agreed... but 1 home Lions meeting in 2 months of late spring/early summer is far from ideal.
  9. Update from Danyon Hume posted on social media. Just a quick update for everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Tomorrow I’m going down to have all of the metalwork removed from my back. This is a huge step forward in my recovery and brings me one step closer to getting back on the bike where I belong. It’s been a long, challenging road to recovery with plenty of ups and downs, but for the first time in a long while, there’s real light at the end of the tunnel. Once I’m through this next stage, my focus will be on working hard to rebuild my fitness, strength, and confidence so I can return fitter, stronger, and more determined than ever. I can’t thank everyone enough for the support, messages, and encouragement along the way. It has meant more than you know. The comeback starts now, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
  10. Today
  11. Group 1 result in Krosno today Krosno 4 Poznan 3 Rybnik 2 Wroclaw 1
  12. He was poor last year as well. One point on Friday, six on Saturday.
  13. Do any of the Social Media outlets advertise car sharing?.... That might encourage more to go and it shares the costs... Four in a car with three passengers giving the driver £20 each may get a few more away fans there.. Sixty quid should pay for the fuel there and back and get the driver in the meeting for nothing...
  14. That’s better than rare it’s non existent
  15. Similar to most clubs who used to run supporters buses to away meeting s the increased cost has put people and organisers off running them.
  16. Sorry to disappoint you but the gold fish racing championship has been called off, course waterlogged apparently🫤
  17. I don’t think he was struggling as such it was the high level of competitors on a brilliant track.
