GP line-up for 2026

OMG, this cannot be correct, what a shambles of a decision. TW adds nothing to the series apart from his dog pooh boom boom dj rubbish. No doubt the sponsors have had their say in including a three time world championship medal winner. Cannon fodder, no less. -

What, like missing Lawson last Sunday???? -
I honestly don’t see the big deal here and think some people are overreacting. They’ve done all the team meetings in huddles etc etc. you don’t do that constantly throughout the build up to the meeting, and throughout the entire meeting do you? You’ll have moments where riders will be sitting alone in their pit chairs while their mechanics go to work. What are they supposed to do in those quiet moments? Sit and stare in to space? Some riders like to have a look on their phone to help them relax and relieve a bit of pressure. I don’t see the big issue. If they were doing it instead of joining in a team meeting then fair enough but I don’t think that was the case was it. Let’s be honest, your manager just had the hump because the meeting didn’t start the way he’d like. But it was still very early when he had his little rant and it was ill advised IMO. Quite possibly ruined any good positive atmosphere they had.

There has always been a gulf between top end and bottom end riders - just look back at averages over the years. There was a time when the top league was packed full of riders who averaged 9 or 10 per meeting, and there were riders at reserve on 3 or 4. Nothing has really changed, except that league matches are on TV for all to see ...

Riders include Cooper Rushen, Vinnie Foord, Will Cairns, Luke Harrison, Ben Trigger and Ace Pijper plus many more exciting young riders. Also after the U19 final there is the British Youth Championships 250 cc and 125 cc classes. Gates open 11:30 am, cash only . Adults £17.00 This should be a very competitive event with some of the UKs finest talent on show, get down to the GT Tyres Arena and support the stars of the future.

I think that is correct although personally I dont think the 8 day rule should apply to the home team. A home rider is there every week but a guest can only be used if there is more than a 8 day gap. -

So I am right in saying Bears can't use Allen on Friday or Sunday due to 8 day rule and/or working on Sunday. Nor Scott on Friday due to concussion?? Am I? -
I’m not sure that was the smartest thing to do in all honesty. Publicly having a pop at your riders on live TV isn’t going to have a great impact on team spirit IMO. More likely to have pis sed them off. I’m not convinced that doesn’t happen in every pits either. We only knew about it because Dickson told us. Wouldn’t mind betting that a few on the other side of the pits were doing exactly the same. He can be a bit over dramatic for me your manager.

They’re split second decisions though for a rider. He had his wheels in line and opened the throttle and was making a pass. Stick or twist? Keep it pinned and make a pass in a grand final, or shut off and lose the opportunity. To be fair track was a little tricky early doors, quite deep and heavy. Had that been later in the meeting when it dried and slickened off a bit more, he could have made that move stick. Certainly don’t blame the boy for giving it a go.

No they do seem unlucky, it looks a very well built team and should win things but something always seems to go wrong, Gavin seems a nice guy too, maybe they were waiting on Riss because he could of come back and Redcar probably could not afford someone like Nagel. -
Firstly they ARE walking the league. They pi$$ed the semi final and they’ll pi$$ the final. Secondly, no not everyone DOES get injuries. Some are more fortunate than others. It’s pretty unfortunate to lose not just one, but your TWO most important riders at the exact same time isn’t it? Ipswich lost the biggest weapon in the entire league when Thompson got injured. At reserve, he was scoring heatleader points on a regular basis. And Doyle had started the season very well after almost a year out, until he dislocated his hip and hasn’t been the same rider since.

I'm sure its not as simple as that. As has been said they had a deal which fell through late in the day, pretty sure Parr was on an episode of No Brakes No Fear at the time and explained it. No doubt they would prefer seven riders rather than having to source guests. They never seem to have much luck with injuries/illness unfortunately.
