When you've got a 6 x World Champion who's command of the English language extends as far as "me big happy" it's no surprise that the promoters want somebody who will guarantee some media coverage with maybe the odd f-bomb dropped in for good measure. As much as he doesn't deserve to be in it on the form of the last 4 or 5 years he does on the media coverage he'll bring with his comeback from near death... so I think I'm all for it on that basis.

Happy with Rew! Feels like it is still the witches team, I really like Rew and would love to see him help us lift a title after nearly doing so for us previously… this guest feels like we’ve just got our sub from the bench, rather than a guess.

I’m with you here. He was part of the heartbreak the last two years when everything seemed to go wrong for us so really pleased he gets the chance to help us try and see the job through this time.

To me, this is why I love Ipswich. He didn’t get the chance to win it with us before, but he gets a second chance! So glad they asked him over anyone else, I personally would love to see him back in Witches colours long term! Get well soon Adam!

He was slow to get going this year, but whenever I’ve been checking his scores during the second half of the season, he seemed to be Birmingham’s most consistent rider? Maybe I’m wrong you’ve been watching Birmingham far closer than me this year. Anyway, if we were going the guest route Rew was the one I wanted. Pretty sure he still has last years Ipswich kevlars too!
