  2. Imo.... Around Foxhall -> No because I think only a handful of non-Ipswich riders could match Tobi's scoring power around Foxhall. Away from Foxhall -> Yes because I think Woryna is more likely to pull up some tree's in Heats 13 & 15 than Musielak. My ideal No.5 is Max Fricke but I fully expect him to head back to Leicester.
  3. Just correcting myself as doing sums again Ellis or Andersen wouldn't fit in the below Doyle ? King Brennan Woryna Cairns R/S However kemp would! And I did hear that on the last meeting but wasnt sure if it was a rumour or what someone wanted!
  4. We're both on the same page with the 1-7 then lol. Mayfield really should be winning the battle for Cairns imo, Sheffield can't throw money around in their position and the only way Cairns stays at Belle Vue is if it's a Club over Money decision imo. The fact that his Dad has been talking to Richard Coleman according to a fellow member suggests that he's trying to get his son the best deal possible no matter which Club Will lines-up for.
  5. Are you convinced Woryna would be an upgrade on Tobi? I like him absolutely would to see him over here and clearly he’s reached a higher level on the continent but that doesn’t guarantee being a better level in uk - tobi knows all the tracks and has proven to be committed to riding here, would be a great no.5 for Ipswich and a shame for me he’s not back when he clearly wanted to be
  6. Brennan announced for Oxford, Will bounce back next season with the extra confidence and meetings under his belt. King and Brennan is the perfect 3 & 4 pairing in order to be dominant at Home rather than winning 48 - 42 or 47 - 43 which won't wash come play-off time.
  7. As long as the rule change around 8 point riders is confirmed then potentially a solid team can be built. Masters Brennan Rowe (although rumoured to be Glasgow bound) Killeen Dan Gilkes ? Sam Hagon ? 2 pointer Vale or Fletcher If no Rowe then maybe Mitch could be talked into staying and increase the bottlom end strength. Maybe Eddie K if he fits but I think that might be slightly over. So maybe Dayle Wood again. Jonas Knudsen has indicated he is open to UK next season so could be an option if Oxford can run Fridays more often so Denmark meeting clash less. regardless it is a very good start to team building.
  8. If they can pack the team with riders like Kennett and other riders on a 4/5 ave capable of scoring far more than that then they’re gonna be the team to built. Already an exciting looking team and can’t wait to see how they finish it. Great to have Tom back in the championship, it’s a great move for him and Oxford
  9. With Tom Brennan being just announced by Oxford, obviously the one over 8 has been scrapped
  10. So that answers that question, you can have two riders over 8 next season
  11. Think his calendar is now full mate, pretty sure I saw the other day he’s fixed up in Poland, Sweden and Denmark.
  12. Mikkel Andersen? Fit nicely in that last spot on a 6.00 which fits a 38 limit for top 6. And uses the Wroclaw connection
  13. Amazing really. We can't even enforce the simplest of rules, how do they possibly think we'd manage to police a salary cap? I would say in some ways it is accurate, if British promoters took over Polish clubs, there'd be no reason to worry about salary caps, wages, or anything else - not when they manage to lose 90% of the fanbase within a year.
  14. Great signing. 2 riders capable of going unbeaten on any track in the league. If they get the reserves right they could walk the league
  15. Just announced Tom Brennan joins Oxford cheetahs
  16. Tom Brennan signs https://oxfordspeedway.club/2026/10/brennan-makes-three/
  17. Today
  18. King is in the team. Doyle King Brennan ? Woryna Cairns RS Don't think that’s a million miles away.
  19. Shanes is a grass tracker, not a speedway rider. He sits in to the bike and doesn’t move. Works in the grass but not on a speedway track where riders need to move as they race. And his NDL average is lower than Jordy Loftus. Add in the fact that he’ll be 30 by the start of next season and, with Glasgow’s history of daft signings, he’s probably nailed on.
  20. Bewley 8.78 Wroclaw Pole 4.00 Woryna 8.00 Brennan 5.91 Doyle 8.40 2.91 - not sure if the averages of Bewley/Brennan have % reductions already, obviously if it has already, then I know, will need a wiggle about! Realistically would then be King for Bewley and another 4.00 rider. RS Having moved to 20 minutes from the stadium, that would get me there every week
  21. Seems a bit of a strange one, Mitch is an entertaining rider who likes to have a blast around the boards but the Northampton track as it stands will not suit that.
  22. I like the rule, bit think 8% a season is far too much. Should've just said 2.5% every season missed. Shanes would be a great signing on that average.
