So three of those were first bend bunching where both Poole and Glasgow riders fell. Flint was correctly excluded. Sorry but it’s sour grapes. Of the three falls on bend one all four back. Fair. Cami is coming across as a bad loser. -

Brown said: “It was hugely frustrating to say the least. “I spoke to Christina on several occasions. Every decision went against us. I made my feelings clear. “There were four poor decisions. Dayle Wood was clearly taken down by Tobias Thomsen in Heat 6. “Richard Lawson went down on his own in Heat 10 after he missed the start but was allowed in the re-run. Fraser Bowes was knocked off by Paul Starke in Heat 11 and Leon Flint clearly knocked off by Zach Cook in Heat 14. “Every time this happened, Poole got a heat advantage in the re-run. -

Yes agreed but I think Flint tried to cut back and Zach was already there but the evidence is inconclusive. To be fair it probably could have gone either way. -

Doesn’t really matter who was in front at the time, you can’t ride through someone, Flint was in front entering the corner and (whilst the video evidence isn’t conclusive) if Cook came through and collected Flint on the way he should have been excluded. -

I watched the Poole live stream and at one stage it was clear fans were having a go at Dan Thompson and his father on the way back into the pits. In addition to that, after Leon’s crash, Freddy Hodder was out on track to help him back in, on the way they both had a verbal altercation with Poole fans, I’ve no idea what was said but the Poole commentators both commented on it at the time. -

Well as the away riders are on the back of the pits, not in any view or earshot of fans, I find this incredulous! I was in the pits until 7pm when fans leave and on the Glasgow side of the pits there were the usual autograph hunters and a few fans getting selfies. No issues whatsoever. Some of the tactics used? What, good hard racing? Very volatile? Just a great atmosphere with a noisy crowd. Possibly the best atmosphere this season. Me thinks it’s just a bit of sour grapes from Cami who is playing to the Glasgow fans. He should stop whining. They even had a Scottish ref! It’s far from over. Glasgow are good around their place. Would have preferred a bigger lead. -

Fingers crossed the forecast is wrong again. Looking forward to Saturday. -
Stars to win this !! The Aces have struggled for points all season at reserve and the Stars could pick up valuable points at the bottom end. With play-offs already confirmed for the Aces and a big weekend in Wroclaw for Brady Kurtz, I wonder how competitive they will be tonight. First ever trip to the Adrian Flux Areana / Norfolk Arena last week and the track wasnt as deep as it has looked on tv but the Spires put up little or no competition. Aces have struggled on travels to support Kurtz and Bewley and it woulf be a surprise if any different this evening. (Think Kurtz should bring the Elmo Helmet Cover as featured in the latest speedway star).

Ipswich vs King’s Lynn Thursday 21st August
Hackett replied to ShanoXtra's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
FIrst time at Foxhall last week and the racing wasnt great but for a my family this meeting and Kings Lynn on the Mon it was our "live" speedway season. So good to see live racing again. The racing wasnt spectacular but as an Eastbourne fan was good to see Tom Brennan looking quick. Plus Jason Edwards also looked competitive at reserve. Decent set up in general although the promotion could do with concreting the steps on the backstraight - was definitely a couble of wobblers making there way out. Fair play to all that contributed to the BenFund. -
(...)"The most important factor is cost savings. The new type of tire will be significantly harder than the current ones, and therefore several times more durable. With the same type of tire, English Premier League players can cover up to five races on a single tire. Furthermore, when ordering tires in bulk, the price will drop from the current 500 złoty to as much as 300 złoty per tire. Great words of appreciation are due to Krzysztof Cegielski from the "Metanol" speedway riders' association and the coach of the Polish national team, Rafał Dobrucki , because they were the initiators of this change."(...)
