I'd have thought the big problem for him getting back into Speedway would be finding the money to kit himself out. It's not cheap needing a couple of bikes and a van plus plenty of spares even if his old riding kit is still OK. Sponsors aren't going to be queuing up for him and even with some help it's a big ask for somebody who has had no income for years. It's not exactly a steady income at the best of times. Personally I would think his rehabilitation would be better served by finding employment with a steady monthly income to get his personal life on track. If in 3 years or so he has saved enough to fund a return to racing that would be the time to take the risk.

If Woffinden has signed on again, that would leave 9.19 for last two. A 3 pointer at Six leaves 6.19. Janowski (already has three clubs?) Rew Ellis Tungate All fit. Would obviously mean no place for Pickering, Chris Holder or the rumoured Tom Brennan. Unless of course Woffinden gets a bigger reduction for spending the entire year out injured? And if it’s not a genuine oversight on the FIM website.

Neither 😂 Night shift. Finished at 7 this morning. Bath and bed for me! 😴

The Poole haters will be disappointed

That's the one I always use, fantastic site.

https://fimspeedway.com/en/riders/tai-woffinden The FIM website has Woffinden a Sheffield rider. A mistake? Initially thought they could be the riders 2025 clubs, but there’s no Ipswich on Doyle’s and Fricke has Lynn as his GB club.. https://fimspeedway.com/sgp/riders

Ues this better one https://www.gbspeedway.com/2025/ridervstrack.php?mc1=s&mc2=rv&mc3=x&mc4=x&name=Jaimon Lidsey&track=Ipswich

I refuse to even look at that site based on who runs it, a convicted repeat sexual offender.

A possibility of 3 number 1s as batch on his day can beat anybody, and with less pressure to be the top rider, think this will help all 3 heat leaders

Only goes to 2 decimal points, so it's 7.99

Matt said that everything is fine for at least 2026 and 2027, probably longer. The discussions with the Council have already identified some alternative site options ,with Matt and Danny having a 'preferred' track site within the bcp council boundary.

Averages are calculated to 3 decimal places, and rounded to 2. Cook's rolling average is 207 points from 101 rides = 207/101 x 4 = 8.198 If he was a foreigner, 8.198 would round to 8.20 As he's British, he gets a further 2.5% reduction. 8.198 x 0.975 = 7.993 which rounds to 7.99 (But even if it was 8.00 he would still fit)

They won’t be at Ipswich, but don’t rule them out lining up for ‘the 6th team’🫤
-
It was over 8 anyhow so its irrelevant
-
Wouldn't

Are management already looking for a replacement for mid season?! 😉
-
Not if there was only 5.32 to play with he wouldn’t.
-
A very good signing. Workington done a full season without a number 1 last year but are going into this season with two number 1s
-
And I'd take him in a heartbeat. My favourite belle vue rider 😍

Can someone explain to me why his average isn’t 8.0? 8.2 minus the British reduction is 7.995 which of course rounds up to 8. Is it so they can have him and Jepperson? I’ve got no problem with him being at Worky and I wouldn’t want him out of a job. But I do disagree with reducing a riders average so a team can fit them in. I know it’s only 0.01 and I know that they’ll likely have points spare on their team overall. But just wondering if I’ve missed something.

Craig Cook would fit 😜
