... and all of a sudden in July 🤷♂️, the meeting countdown and sponsor introductions are back 👏 Word must have got out to Mr Morris (who is definitely still Premiership CEO) -
Newman and Bowes would have been the reserve pairing from 1st July!
-
Tom Brennan over 6pts tonight at KL @ 11/10. Off form a bit but loves the track and it's his Bday 😎
-
Got to make sure charles is ok before he comes back 🤞
-
Poole have never taken any passengers on in the past and i wouldnt have replaced him if i had 2 reserves riding like they have either. may be another new good rider coming in 🤷♂️
-
Where did you find out his average?
-
Why are people trying to insinuate that Poole have pulled a fast one by declaring Bowes out for the season, you do know they could have replaced him in the team regardless?

3 qualifiers from Pila Maroszek 13 Kostera 12 Kawczynski 12 2 qualifiers from Lodz Kacper Sobkowiak 14 - only 15 and a real talent Paluch 13 3 qualifiers from Krosno Majewski 13 Kowolik 12 Zurek 12 3 qualifiers from Swietochlowice Sitek 12 Kordun 11 Kubica 11 -
Did not need mystic meg to predict bowes would be out for the rest of the season. Poole have worked there under achieving missing rider really well all season 🤣🤣🤣
-
So we are looking for a new 5.00 rider to UK, options who would come mid season with Europe’s commitments. But I’m sure there is a few riders available

... and there's only 2 genuine number 1's in the top league currently, things were very different when the rule was introduced. And with Max Fricke's starting average it could take 2 years of duff performances for him to lose his number 1 spot. It makes you wonder what the point of forcing your highest averaged rider at number 1 is if they're actually number 4 in the averages 🤷♂️

Cairns perhaps, Rushen no.

Lions win Tonight. -
Never ought to have signed him in the first place. Not a very nice natured bloke.
-
Garritty/scumbag has been given a 6 point average for the championship, so unfortunately/thankfully he won't fit in the pilots team
-
I can’t think of a single foxes fan or for that matter, any other knowledgeable speedway fan who would keep Batchelor above ANY of the other team members. a total waste of space.

Good luck Foxes for tonight. A home and away double would be nice and a couple of you are literally riding for your jobs with Zagar about to return! -
But that "year" includes 6 months of inactivity!

Think Bailey has now earned first choice over a young Dane in his Danish Team, so Wed may be an issue on fixture clashes plus he can get 5/6 rides per meeting in their 6 man teams. He now has POL U24 every other Tue I think. DK Wed - Also now qualified for the SGP 2 finals which I believe are another 3 meetings. would love to see him over here but more likely in 2027 as both Prem & Champ will want him and would not surprise me if its B.Vue & Poole who share his services. Especially considering the Poole/B.Vue rider connection the last 5 plus years.
-
6 Premiership teams means 5 home and 5 away, twice = 20 matches. So 20 is the exact correct number of meetings to get a year's average. The fact that Tom Brennan's average is higher than his current scoring says that he is currently off-form and under-performing, which I'd say is the case at the moment, but he'll battle through it, and regain his true form soon.
-
I would rather tradings were used, let me explain, if we had gradings you could name a large squad with hopefully some names who would not normally look to race here but might be prepared to do a few meetings every now and then. I think this is maybe what Ipswich would want with there Polish club tie up. It “could” also mean less reliance on guests and rider replacement.
-
I'm not sure that rolling averages and top averaged rider has to be at number 1 were brought in at the same time, so it may very well be an unintended consequence, and as others have said with so few matches being ridden these days it could be an entire season before a rider who has not been riding very well to work themselves out of the number 1 spot
