The lad is a trier and on the way up. Palm toft on the way down. That’s why -

Do yourself a favour and pop it on ignore like the rest of us. Simon Lambert was/is an excellent mentor who has a huge amount of knowledge available both technical and mechanical (though perhaps not fitness) anyone who listens and adopts any pointers he gives them will be better for it.
-
That’s about what’s most of them are worth. The main men earn their money in Poland. The Prestige and Sponsorship Deals is their main aim in GPs

Absolutely, I remember Poole being criticized for letting him go yet most championship teams could have fitted him in, rode pretty well at times for Glasgow but they let him go, could easily have fitted in at Oxford for either of their reserves so I dont see why Scunthorpe would even consider him with the points available, they will be bottom without Perry in the team.
-
If Lambo does not fit what about Paul Starke?
-
it was in uk
-
That doesn't sound to bad for an afternoons work if in the UK guess not so good if having to fly all the equipment out abroad assuming GP organizer doesn't cover that cost.
-
I think they will make last years Brum and Oxford look like Cradley 1984 and Ipswich 1998 hopefully a half decent side can be put together for both as not doing anyone any favours if they get destroyed every week but does make you wonder where a couple of top level riders for both will come from assuming Kurtz is staying at Belle Vue.
-
Didn't Charles Wright pick up around £8k for his 2 GP appearances last year?
-
They are not doing that. Jason mentioned how long it takes to complete the paperwork.
-
How much will the gp boys be getting from prize money this year ? I got the impression it was never massive money and the main plus to being in the gp was it helped get better personal sponsors, I never remember it being a major earner other than when Andreas Jonson won that race that was worth was it $100,000 dollars ?
-
I'm not sure if they gave away 500 free tickets, that they would all turn up.

Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2025

Is the contract with TNT/Discovery+ for the Speedway Grand Prixs ended, Or will they be showing them this year ? Thanks -
Perhaps it was created as a rule to be applied in the event of a six-team league actually happening? So in which case Belle Vue could have team A and team B, hedging their options?
-
Nobody outside of the few thousand who watch Speedway each week know who he is... And that is the biggest issue the sport has... Most of Manchester won't even know what the NSS is, nor even who the Belle Vue Aces are... And even what Speedway is.. So, sadly, It matters not one jot to crowd levels how well Dan rides the NSS...
-
The way the sport is run nobody can.
-
please tell me what is your obsession with Lambert? Every other post you mention him. Its not the first, and it wont be the last time an older rider has ridden in the league. Why has it 'now' gone in the wrong direction all of a sudden?
-
It was obvious what would happen the day it was announced. Personally i think the NL limit should be 40 and leave it there, changing year on year creates a bigger mess. 40 allows a little natural average inflation to help riders progress beyond but also high enough that a decent standard of teams can be put on track. Lowest rider average should be 3.00 meaning riders have to work hard to earn and keep their place rather than being convenient low numbers.
-
Any rider on a 2.00 is daft but Ben Whalley is New Zealand national champion. He beat George Congrieve who was decent in a stronger NL so id say even a bad season is going to see his average go over 6.

Why? Scunthorpe look in enough trouble as it is. This will sound mean (because it is) but i genuinely don't get all the hype around Max Perry needing a team place all the time.....surely the fact that it happens season after season says something? Team building averages shouldn't be tinkered with just to accommodate someone to frankly has suspect machinery and doesn't mix it enough. Neither will feature given the points available but Mickie Simpson would be more deserving of the position than Perry based upon last season. -
You say that but once again, not even 2 years ago he was a SEVEN point rider in the championship. I get that riders in the NDL should be beating Championship reserves and even the lesser second string riders in order to step up, but he was a heat leader less than 2 years ago. This is an egregious mockery of the rules.
