Nah never been allowed before… even a few years back when we won the cup it wasn’t allowed. 🤦🏼
-
Well Ipswich and Leicester were the only teams riding that night, Belle Vue were nowhere to be seen. And what point did I miss? I’ve had a great day, but thanks for your concern!
-
Unfortunately the Facebook page called 'Memories of Ipswich Speedway' could have real meaning soon.
-
Brought up on the small technical tracks in America so was always going to take a liking to Foxhall. Would be a great signing.
-
Would be great for Ipswich, has done very well there in the past.
-
He's not listed in the heavily rumoured Leicester team. I don't see him fitting at Belle Vue, King's Lynn or Sheffield, so his only options seem to be Team 5 or Ipswich.
-
100% Four weeks healing, then several weeks rehab, he will be fine for P@P day all being well . He's a young lad so he will heal quicker . But not the sort of thing you really want to hear.

If anyone watched this meeting from this morning (8am UK time), what an awfully dragged out meeting! Congrats to Lidsey in the final, Becker's only defeat. Beau Bailey was impressive for a sixteen year old. Track was very slick but it seems that's speedway these days. Was good to see Leigh Adams, Kevin Doolan and Neil Evitts in attendance, along with Cameron Woodward as the ref.
-
I hope not.
- Today

Nothing compared to the crimes of James Purchase and Jerran Hart in more recent years relating to speedway riders, they both carried on after being at her majesty's pleasure without much objection from anyone.
-
Was live on BSN this morning

Hi where are you getting the results from out of interest can't see anything on this forum and nothing I can find on speedway updates ?
-
Would Becker be worth a go at Ipswich always strikes me as there's a decent rider trying to get out even though he's stalled a bit last two years, maybe Ippo would suit him tight track etc, he just strikes me as a rider who could put a point on his average and really should be pushing on to trying to get into the top 10-15% of riders globally.

Imagine the scenes
-
Becker not doing UK in 2026 ?
-
Ba dum tshhh
-
All of those can ride Foxhall apart from Lidsey so I would not want him on his high average when he can’t ride the home track in the right team and the right set up I’d take any of the others Rumours that Jenkins is Lynn bound
-
About about a pool of tracks instead of riders?
-
I’m sure the bonuses were on offer to Tigers against certain opposition.🤔👌
-
Has a Birmingham look about it 😂
-
Tbf when Dan signed up to race the Arenacross series this year I thought he was using it as practice for Foxhall!

Poole 2026

hahaha ....... a bit like Gary Havelock then who won the WC after the track was waterlogged halfway through the meeting .... or Egon Muller who won on a specially prepared track ...... or Jerzy Szakiel wwho won a specially prepared Polish track ..... Come on - they are all World Champions , they won the championship to the rules existing at the time. Screen never made the top because he really couldn't gate. He could have reached the top...... yes I agree. He did not though. Poole Pirate Loram wasn't much better at gating , but he was consistently good enough for one season to give England a World Champion. Some other lesser riders like Hamill and Rickardsson were not as consistent on all the tracks and finished 2nd and 3rd. -
Think our selection pool of Riders will be..... Tai Woffinden Jaimon Lidsey Jason Doyle Tom Brennan Richard Lawson Tobiasz Musielak Danny King Nicolai Klindt Keynan Rew Adam Ellis Jordan Jenkins Jason Edwards

Never over till the fat lady sings. She's not even on the stage yet

Poole was always a good training track for Australian riders coming over to the UK. Think the hospitiality and workshops at Baillie House was the reason ?
