Have been critical of King Charles recently (by his own high standards) but very glad to see him back to doing what he does best particularly at home. X2 for Danny King! -

Very impressed with my first visit to Ashfield in over a decade. Great nights entertainment on a marvellous race surface which allowed the riders to express themselves. I left the stadium buzzing. Not a fan of Nicolai Kindt but thought last night he looked really classy. He has been struggling at this level but no issues last night. - Today

Question for Leicester fans saying that they wouldn’t support the Lions with Nick Morris in the team I agree an apology to fans for letting the team down is required. If Patrick Dudek agreed to ride for the Lions would the same apply ? As he got banned for drug use as well and proved can come back to succeed . I believe that if Nick decides to come back to UK this year there are multiple Premiership and Championship clubs interested but one advantage Leicester can offer is free track time to get back up to race fitness and bike time

Scunthorpe Vs Oxford 20/06/25

Where is Steve Worrall, the worst no 1 in the league, would rather have kept Palm Toft than have him in the team, Why wasn’t Luke Harrison used more in place of Lambert and the Kennedy’s, along with Connor Mountain they were the only 2 to come out of this match with any credit. -
Yes it certainly worked well for Leicester against Belle Vue. I won't say r/r at 5 wouldn't have worked because Leicester were so strong any riding order would've gained a big victory.
-
As @40-38 eluded to, I can't ever remember Morris addressing the fans re his misdemeanor and 2 whole years off takes quite some coming back from I would have thought, for me I'd rather stay with R/R if it was a toss up between the 2.

Leicester Lions 2025
False dawn replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I must admit, I was more than a touch surprised. But I was reminded of the time that Bomber was dropped by Leicester and then he was seen chatting to Stuart Dickson a week or two later. It was said at the time that you can't afford to bear a grudge; it's too small a community. If Nick Morris came in and started scoring anywhere near the points Luke was putting on the board, I suspect people would have very short memories. -

Good comeback meeting from young Dan tonight winning 3 out of his 4 programmed rides. Ipswich have missed him big time. -
Would be a boom or bust move.

Totally agree. Signed for Comets before getting a chance at Tarnow. Would rather be No 8 there than getting good race practice in the UK. Believe he is missing next week too. -

Absolute credit to the track staff track was amazing, I went expecting to come home covered but there was absolutely no dust whatsoever. Great work from all memebers of the team tonight, Hodder looked really quick tonight and Perry was looking competitive as well. Vilads had a bit of an unfortunate night with bike issues but he looked fast and wasn't afraid to attack. -

He got better as the meeting went on. Some really good racing tonight and not a spec of dust despite the heat. -

It was all down to crowd numbers, even Chapman on the microphone said at Peterborough that the PB supporters supported there team in numbers and financially helped the club and wished the KL fans would do the same. -
And a pretty decent bloke if you speak to him.
-
If Morris ends up anywhere near BP that's me out I'm afraid. I'd expect nothing less than a humbling apology to all Leicester fans before I'd even waste my water on him.

This could be the beginning of the end for him if workington are to play 2nd fiddle when they had signed him 1st. Poland will soon crash especially for the youth as in 2026 the U24 league will cease giving riders less reason to race there. If this is to continue to happen the promotion will have to ship him off as his scores dont really dictate he should stay. There is one or two riders who could replace him. Hopefully tomorrow the team can get a confidence boosting win against an unusual full Plymouth team. They should be dealt with easily to give the club a good start to the league campaign in what is a strong CL in 2025. -
Just catching up with the BSN meeting... and I can't believe that Nick Morris is even in Mr Dickson's thinking! Has he learnt nothing from the Craig Cook episode?!?
